REPAIR/ MAINT AND REPLACEMENT OF UNSV STREET LIGHTS, PERIMETER LIGHT, FLOOD LIGHT, TIMER PANEL, POLE BOX AND RELATED ITEMS UNDER GE (AF) JORHAT

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.50m wide and not exc. 1.50m in depth for taking out cables and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 250mm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Labour only for horizontal boring for passing protection pipe up to 100mm bore, under road/foot path, not exceeding 10m in a single length complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cable (below, above and around the UG cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spread thickness and consilidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For the purpose of payment, punned thickness of sand cushioning only shall be measured and paid for.

Taking down/out unserviceable or serviceable UG cables of cross sectional area 35 sq.mm, 3.5 core and connections including bricks, GI pipe, etc. of any descriptions, laid in trenches and /or fixing with walls/poles including segregating of serviceable materials viz bricks, cables, GI pipes, etc. and keep in safe custody for re-use complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Necessary Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per Serial Item No. 6 here-in-before but of cable size 25 sq.mm, 4 core.

Supply, laying or fixing or passing through pipe, XLPE insulated, armoured, electric power UG cable (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, nominal cross-sectional area 35 sq.mm, 3.5 core and testing, including brass compression cable gland, terminal lug, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.
