Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil by mechanical means Hydraulic excavator in foundation trenches or drains including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to any, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed by Engineer-in-charge, within any lead. (HSR 4.14.1).

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade 1:4:8 with stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size excluding the cost of centering and shuttering – complete in all respect (HSR.6.1.6)

Providing and laying 40 mm thick cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate finished with a floating coat of neat cement, including cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete in all respect. (HSR.10.10.1)

Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 with stone aggregate finished with 20 mm nominal size, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement (HSR.6.14.2)

Steel reinforcement Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more for R.C.C. work where not included in the complete rate of RCC, including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position, binding, wastage overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. all complete up to plinth level. Note: - Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods of binding & placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. (HSR 6.33.6)

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform etc. (HSR 6.30.3)

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size complete in all respect with cement mortar 1:6 (HSR.7.83.1)

Raised and cut pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (HSR.11.27.2)

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, upto any lead & lift (Based on HSR 4.32)

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry/Plain/ Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/ return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1 V :20H towards drawing force. Complete as per drawing and MoRT&H Specifications (HSR.27.15)

Note:- 1. In case of any difference in the unit of any of the HSR/DSR Items of Civil, P.H. & E.I. work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR/DSR, the unit given in HSR/ DSR shall be applicable. 2. Only reputed make material will be used (make/brand exhibited in HSR/DSR and exhibited in approved standard document) as approved by Engineer-in-charge, while executing various items/works at site. Notes:- 1. The item for which no rate or price has been entered in will not be paid for by the Employer when executed and shall be deemed to be covered by the other rates and prices in the Bill of Quantities (Refer: ITB Clause 13.2 and Part I General Condition of Contract 39.3). 2. Unit rates and prices shall be quoted by the bidder in Indian rupees [ITB Clause 14.1]. 3. Deleted.
