B-SOR Execution

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.0 mt. deep and 300mm wide along side the track in normal soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling after cable laying. This work includes covering of cable laid to trench by loose soil for a layer 01 of 50mm thickness afer clearing of route, bushes etc. It shall be ensured that top of the cables laid is at a depth of 0.8 m or more. If it is less, then the width and depth shall be suitably increased and accordingly proportionate payment shall be made. In case depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, proportionate payment will be made as per procedure. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Railway engineer at site. Drg No SK 805

Cutting of all types of Roads/platforms (except concrete type) for trenching and 02 excavation to depth of 300mmx300mm wide approx. and refilling after laying of RCC/GI/DWC pipe & to restore them to original condition. The work shall be done as per extant practice on C.Rly & the instruction of Railway engineer at site. Drg No SK 807

Where ever depth of 0.5 m cable trench is not feasible, cable shall be protected as under:- Preparation of cement mixture 1:3:6 with contractor's own materials and spreading cement concrete mixture layer of 100 mm thick over the already laid cables in the excavated trench.

Making of thermoshrink straight through/derivation/ transformer /PIJF cable joint for underground jelly filled cable 6 quad/4 quad/20 pair 10 pair etc. PIJF cable as per the instruction of Rly engineer at site.

Laying of HDPE duct in trench and its protective work as per direction of site engineer.

Blowing/Drawing of OFC cable in HDPE/DWC duct and protective work, as per direction of site engineer.

Supply Installation & commissioning of 12 Port LIU Rack mountable with pigtails/patch cords. LIU should be provided for terminating the optic fiber cables. It shall provide 07 minimum bending radius and the splice trays shall function as a splice cover for pigtail splicing. Cable glands shall be provided for secured anchoring of incoming cables. Rubber grommets shall be provided at the cable entry point for tight sealing. The splice tray shall be made of ABS materials. LIU should be of reputed make.
