EARTH WORK: Excavation earth work by mechanical means or manual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work, jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful materials to be stacked at suitable site as per satisfication of Engineer -in- Charge along with levelling fine dressing and with all kinds of labour , mechanical tools and equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles, aggregate,sand slates shall be properlystacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and all surplus excavated earth will be disposed off at approved dumping site which will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. Any loss to thepublic and private property during the course of execution and disposal of serviceableand unserviceable materials shall betheabsoluteresponsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be dully compensated by him in all respectsincluding all incidental charges. as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :(i) 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required.In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works complete as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.

Painting Steel work with Deluxe Multi Surface Paint to give an even shade. Two or more coat applied 0.90 ltr/ 10 sqm over an under coat of primer applied @ 0.80 ltr/ 10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture.as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts.
