Repairs to Road, Road Furniture under AGE BR-I Area of GE Brichgunj, Port Blair

M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area not exceeding 400 Sq.m and exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm depth including include raking over and grading the broken up surfaces to the proper camber etc. and removing the debris to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick [compacted thickness] Water Bound Macadam with coarse aggregate of Grading 2 [63 to 40mm size] spread, rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial Item No. 3 above but except materials complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Screening Road Metal, Chippings, etc. on the site of the work, when specially ordered, including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring [Materials from both sides of screen measured] complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for repair to Pot Holes not exceeding 30 mm depth, not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in Bituminous Premixed Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient and including preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Moorum / Red Bajri filling under Floors or in Pavings laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread levelled and rammed / rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including watering to and consolidated to required level, gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Measurements shall be taken after consolidation of earth and 10% deduction shall be made for payments. Moorum / Red Bajri required shall be brought from outside MD land.

S & F in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 1000mm dia made out of Fibre along with bracket, Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC 1:3:6, Type C1 [using 20mm graded stone aggregate] of size 450 X 450 X 600mm, including necessary earthwork excavation in any type of soil as in Post Holes and removal of soil up to 50 metre, applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of Zinc Chrome primer to MS Pipe & Framed work complete all as specified. Make: Model No. FCMO-80 of M/s. Frontier Polymers Pvt. Ltd. or equivalent model of 3M / Dark Eye as approved by GE .
