General Notes for item No. 1.00 to 30.00:- (i) water proofing treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator only, necessary approval shall to be taken from GE before commencement of work. (ii) Material required for water proofing treatment shall be procured and kept in site before taking down old tratment, after removing old roof treatment shall be covered with water proof cover till laying new treatment. (iii) Mother slab, shall be made clean and neat by buffing to complete satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Plain Cement Concrete Type B0 1:2:4 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in padding concrete, coving of vertical junctions on roof top incl dismantling old loose /cracked cement concrete including demolition of old concrete and removal of rubbish outside MOD Land complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3 Kg of cement per Sqm over the RCC slab and sides complete all as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

M&L for rendering 10mm in CM 1:3 over concrete surfaces on RCC roof slab and parapets mixed with WPC @ 3% by weight of cement shall be carried out complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : WPC will be measured under separate item of this schedule.

M&L water proofing treatment with polymeric standard membrane of weight not less than 3.50 kg per sqm and minimum 3mm thick reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt not less than 150gms/sqm) laid over primed surface by forced application complete. Shall be fused uniformly by LPG torch flame on horizontal/vertical/slope surface on roof complete and preparation of surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth otherwise described and appplying two coat of aluminium paint @100ml per sqm over APP membrabe sheet complete all as specified and directed dismantling of existing roof treatment including tar felt/cement plaster/concrete tiles/stone slabs/brick tiles etc from roof surfaces including cleaning the surface and removing the debris from site by Engr-in-Charge. Water proof treatment consist of as under: - (i) Applying one coat of bitumous primer conforming to IS 3384 @ 0.3 ltrs per sqm (ii) Laying APP based memberane as specified thickness and weight. (iii) Applying one coat of bitumen grade 85/25 @1.20Kg per sqm. (iv) Two coats of aluminium paint

M&L for cutting out cracks to 'V' - section in existing roof or terracing, cleaning out, wetting grouting with cement and sand slurry (1:3) .

M&L for providing, cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 12.5mm graded aggregate as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamferred on edges .

M&L for brick work built in CM (1:6) with sub clas 'B' fly ash bricks, old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius including demolition of exalt brick work complete .

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cment mortor 1:6 on fair faces of brick work finished even and smooth w/o using extra cement including taking down old plaster complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coats of weather proof antifungal exterior paint as per manufacturers instructions over a coat of true care exterior wall primer over two coats of external birla putty 1.5mm thick each layer to level the surface and finished smooth with emery paper No.180 followed by emery paper No.320 or 400 and wipe it clean complete all as specified and as directed .
