REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF LIGHTENING PROTECTION SYSTEM/EARTHING SYSTEM AND REPAIR MAINTENANCE TO CELLING FANS EXHAUST FAN WALL FAN AIR CIRCULATOR FAN ETC

Dismentling, Removing the existing disturbed/displaced Copper/Aluminium/GI strips of any sizes from the roof/wall of building, and keeping in a safe custody for taking credit or for re-using serviceable strips in the work complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only serviceable Copper/Aluminium/GI strips of any size as retrieved from taking down item by straightening, removing the kinks along the length and refixing the same with and including new porcelain insulators/saddles/screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Aluminium strip of size 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground level all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Care should be taken by using all safety devices to ensure safety while working.

Supply and fix in repairs copper strip of size 20 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Air Termination, single pointed Aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including taking down old unserviceable air termination rod, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix in repairs Test Point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 Nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexognal head screw all as directed .

M&L for demolition of existing earth chamber including removing the demolised material to the distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 mtr above the starting point and construction of new earth chamber only in same location as per Electrical plate No.3 as shown in SSR Part I 2009 (Section-19) on Page No. 497 inclding excavation on any type of soil, returning filling, removal of surplus material to a distance of 50 metere with specification PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for bed and chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate for earth Pit cover 50mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars at 140mm C/C bothways (instead of CI cover) with lifting handle and fixing of funnel complete with colour code all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for copper sulphate crystal industrial grade approx 97% of purity the chemical mixing in water as per direction, and pouring the solution in existing earth pits including necessary earth work reqd at site and cleaning of adjacent area of earth pit and check the earth conductive value after pouring of solution and submite the test results to Engineer - In - Charge complete all as directed. Note: (i) Total quantity brought by contractor shall be diposited in MES store. (ii) The locations of earthing pits and quntity CUSO4 to be poured shall be directed by Engineer-in-charge/JE (E&M)

M & L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.3 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to GI earth lead 4 mm wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts/bracing and washers all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removal and refilling of soil and funnel with wire mesh and GI watering pipe 20mm dia, Chamber in PCC 1:3:6, type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and 40mm thick cover in RCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars at 150mm c/c on both ways, with flush type handle with 16mm dia round bars and 15 mm dia GI pipe upto 7.5m for protection and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion.

Material and labour maintenance free earthing system comprissing 17 mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T terminal rod for connection size of 50 x 150 mm long 6 mm thickness with equal either side with 12 mm of the hole 2 Nos one each either side of the terminal clamp, tested and certified by CPRI india with 50 Kgs of earh energizer compound 2 x 25 Kgs bag tested by any NABL agreated laboratory /national test house tested as per IEC 62561-7, read with ASTM G57-06, Clause 3.4 the above mentioned rod shall be installed in 9 to 12 inch bore of 3.40 mtr depth with the distance of minimum 3 meters between each copper rod, the above installation shall be completed with 10 liters of resistance reducing earthing liquid tested by any NABL agreated laboratory tested as per IEC - 62561-7, READ WITH astm G57-06, CI 3.4A (Consist of 17 mm copper bonded rod -1, EE compound 50 Kg, RR liquid 10 ltrs) with the 3 electrode in 1 set Make - Safe Trode model : HTSP 317

Supply and fix heavey duty earth pit chamber cover made up of heavey duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested & certified by NTH for not less than of with stand load 9.2 ton the cover diamension in bottom 330 mm and top 250 mm model SPEC 250 make Safe trode

Material and labour for trial bore of 250 mm dia upto 50 mtr depth below ground level in any kind of soil strata including hard stone/builders etc for copper rod earthing by using the vehicle mounted compessor with movable drill assembly all as directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard/dense soil for laying of UG cables/earth leads all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thickness with hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials (soils) to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling / cutting of existing road / path / hard standing cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) suitable for laying earth lead any type any dia under the road / path / hard standing complete.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) for making good the disturbed surface of road/path/hard standing by using cement contrete mortar 1:2:4 type B1, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 0.45 mtr wide and 0.15 mtr thick complete all as specified and directed. including demolition of old PCC and removing the debris from site complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fix PVC rectangular box with hinged door cover suitable for fixing the test point of size 155x100x95/100 mm all as directed

Taking down ceiling fan of any size, type and make after disconnecting the electrical connections, servicing, cleaning, greasing, replacing the, rubber bush ,lock pin and re-assembling/hanging the same back at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- i)Spares such as bearing/bushes shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. ii) Any other minimum spare which is not included in BOQ (schedule) but needs replacement shell be born by tenderer without any extra cost. (iii) Transportation and T&P items deemed to included quated rate

M & L for replacing the old unserviceable ball bearings with new ball bearing of size suitable for 1200/1400 mm sweep ceiling fan. Make: SKF/NBC/TATA

Opening of celing fan stator and rotor and dismantling of blades, taking down the old burnt out copper winding wire any type and rewinding the same by using same gauge of copper wire with duly applying varnish and drying reassemble the fan complete all as directed for 1200/1400 sweep ceiling fan.

Removing the exhaust fan from position of any size type and make, after disconnecting the electrical connections, servicing, cleaning, greasing, and re-assembling/fixing the same in position back at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- i) Spares such as bearing/bushes shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. ii) Any other minimum spare which is not included in BOQ (schedule) but needs replacement shell be born by tenderer without any extra cost. (iii) Transportation and T&P items deemed to included quated rate

M & L for replacing the old unserviceable ball bearings with new ball bearing of sizes suitable for exhaust fan of size 225 mm sweep to 450 mm sweep. Make: SKF, NBC,TATA.

Opening of stator/rotor assembly from fan casing from position and taking down the old burnt copper winding wire and rewinding the same by using same gauge of copper winding wire duly applying varnish complete ad drying, reassembling the same all as directed of size 225/305 mm.

All as per item No 26 but of size 380 mm.

All as per item No 26 but of size 400/450 mm.

Removing the wall mounted fan/air circulator/ pedestal fan of any size, type and make after disconnecting the electrical connections, servicing, cleaning, greasing reassembling/ hanging the same in position back at site complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- i) Spares such as bearing/bushes shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. ii) Any other minimum spare which is not included in BOQ (schedule) but needs replacement shell be born by tenderer without any extra cost. (iii) Transportation and T&P items deemed to included quated rate

M & L for replacing the old unserviceable ball bearings with new ball bearings of sizes suitable for wall mounted fan/ air circulator/ pedestal fan of any size. Make: SKF, NBC,TATA.

Taking down old burnt out copper winding wire of wall mounted fan/air circulator/ pedestal fan of size 300/350 mm and rewinding the same by using same gauge of copper wire duly applying varnish, drying complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No 31 but of size 400/450 mm.

S & F 100/120 watt, 230V, 50Hz electronic stepped type regulator (switch type size) suitable for ceiling fan including taking down the unserviceable one.

All as per item No 33 above but of socket type size.

M&L for replacing unserviceable capacitors from Ceiling fan/Exhaust fan/wall mounting fan/air circulator of any sizes complete of capacity 2.5 MFD. Make :-EPCOS, Havells, Keltron, Crompton.

-Ditto- all as per item No. 25 above but of capacity 4 MFD. Make: EPCOS, Havells, Keltron, Crompton.

M & L PVC insulated FRLS/FRSH flexible multi stranded copper conductor twisted cable3 core x 0.75 sq mm size white colour and connecting to ceiling fan including taking down old unserviceable wire any type and size all as directed.

M & L PVC insulated FRLS/FRLSH flexible multi stranded copper conductor cable single core 10 sq mm green colour with copper bottle/thimple lugs on both side (every cut pieace of any distance) for earth conduninty conductor conected with earth lead/termination rod or any other situation/ any height from ground level with neceassary T&P items as required at site including taking down unserviceable cables all as directed..
