Checking and Tightening of nuts and bolts of existing tower from bottom to ultimate height with torque wrench upto the required torque as per IS:1367, Part (8) : 2002 including replacing the damaged nuts, bolts , washers etc all complete as per the directions of the Engineer In Charge.The rate includes the cost of tools and plants required for the operation and testing the verticality and rectifying the tilt within permissible limits as per IS:12843:1989 on atleast two perpendicular faces (Cost of nuts, bolts , washers/angles shall be paid for separately).

(b) 40 metre high ground based self supporting angular steel tower

Providing and fixing to tower, galvanized tower members consisting of angles, flats, bars, channels, plates etc fabricated as per IS: 4757 and as per approved drawings of required size including provision of holes of required size and shape as per relavant drawings with average mass of Zinc Coating not less than 610gms/Sqm (appx. 85 microns). The structural steel of tower member shall be MS grade"A" as per IS: 505-1989, IS:2062-1999 & IS: 3502-1984. [The rate is per kilogram of galvanised members provided.Nothing extra shall be paid for galvanising, cutting, drilling holes etc]

Supplying at site GI coated nuts, bolts, spring and plain washers etc for tower as per standard drawings and designs complete as per the directions of Engineer In Charge.

Credit of Old unserviceable steel members/ nuts and bolts etc received from dismantling works which are not in condition to re reuse at new site

Painting with LUXOL high gloss synthetic enamel paint or equivalent in two or more coats over and including base coats of etching primer (BISON wash primer or equivalent) and BISON HB Zinc phosphate primer or equivalent to required shade and colour.(The colour of painting shall be of international white and orange). The painting should be done in accordance with IS standard.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :

(a) 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

(b) 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (a) All kinds of soil

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for :

(a) Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. (a) Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

12 mm cement plaster of mix : (a) 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
