Offer from vendors who do not quality to be Class %u2013 I (Local Content: minimum 50%) or Class-II (Local Content: minimum 20% but less than 50%) local supplier, shall be summarily rejected and, therefore, such vendors should not participate in the tender. In case any vendor who does not qualify to be a Class - I or Class-II local supplier for the tendered item participates in the tender, such a bidder does so at its own risk and cost and Railways shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the bidder on this account.
