MOTOR DRIVEN MAIN FIRE FIGHTING PUMP: Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Vertical Turbine Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 2400 LPM and total head of 120 m alongwith all accessories, with standard fittings, proper alignment of pumpset with guages, suitably rated TEFC squirrel cage energy efficient induction motor (IE-3) as electrical drive with synchronous speed not exceeding 1500 rpm, Class-F insulation, IP-55 rated to operate at 415 V+/- 10% , 50 Hz+/- 3% , 3 phase AC Supply, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump and motor on it along with foundation bolts, coupling guard,anti vibration pads and other accessories etc complete as per specifications, drawings and instructions of E-I-C. The pump offered shall be of fire fighting duty and its characteristics shall be as per TAC and also as per IS. Cost of all the items, accessories, fittings, tools and tackles, packing etc required to put pumping system into service shall also be included in rates quoted by bidders.
DIESEL ENGINE DRIVEN MAIN FF PUMP: Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Diesel Engine driven Vertical Turbine Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 2400 LPM and total head of 120 m alongwith all accessories,with standard fittings, suitably rated water cooled Diesel Engine with radiator and fan, having aprox. speed of 1500 rpm, along with 12V/ 24V starting batteries, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump and engine on it along with foundation bolts, coupling guard, anti vibration pads, proper alignment of pump with guages, standard diesel tank of 450 litres capacity, fabricated out of 5mm thick M.S. CRCA sheets with proper MS frame supports and heavy class GI fuel pipe (approximately 30 m each) laid upto engine, exhaust piping with 50mm thick glass insulation and 1mm thick aluminium cladding over it, including supply of bends based on site requirement. Supply of the required first charge of lubricants, fuel, distilled water for battery and other consumables related to diesel engine shall be included. The pump offered shall be of fire fighting duty and its characteristics shall be as per TAC and also as per IS 12469-1988 or its latest edition. The entire job shall be carried out as per relevant standards, specifications and drawings, site conditions and as per instructions of E-I-C. Cost of all the items, accessories, fittings, tools and tackles, packings etc required to put pumping system into service shall also be included in rates quoted by the bidders. Note: The scope shall also include Local control panel with main Panel interface and control cabling, including its termination etc. respects. All the items whether specifically specified but required to put the pumping system into service shall be included in the scope of bidder and no extra payment shall be made for the same.
JOCKEY PUMP: Design, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Vertical Turbine Jockey Pump Set for fire fighting system with a flow capacity of 180 lpm and total head of 120 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, S.S. mechanical seal, proper alignment with guages along with all accessories, suitably rated squirrel cage induction motor (energy efficient) as electrical drive with synchronous speed not exceeding 3000 rpm, Class-F insulation, IP-55 rated to operate at 415 V+/- 10% , 50 Hz+/- 3% , 3 phase AC supply, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump and motor on it, alongwith foundation bolts, coupling guard,anti vibration pads and other accessories etc complete as per specifications, drawings and instructions of E-I-C.The pump offered shall be of fire fighting duty and its characteristics shall be as per TAC and also as per IS 12469-1988 or its latest edition. Cost of all the items, accessories, fittings, tools and tackles, packing etc required to put pumping system into service shall also be included in rates quoted by the bidders.
DOMESTIC WATER SUBMERSIBLE PUMP: Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Submersible Pump Set to give a discharge of 500 Lpm and total head of 60 m & 3 phase, 415 v, AC, continuous rated squirrel cage induction motor with class-B insulation, GM gate valve, GI delivery pipe (Heavy class), with approx.10 m length and necessary fittings, flanges, jointing, supports & painting etc. complete in all respects and as directed by E-I-C.Cost of all the items, accessories, fittings, tools and tackles for installation of pump into U/G tank, packing etc required to put pump into service shall also be included in rates quoted by bidders.
AIR CUSHION TANK: Design, Supply and erection of air cushion tank (material IS 2062/2002) with drain valve, gate valve, provision for pressure switches, pressure guages etc. inside the pump house including making inlet and outlet connection with MS pipe of required length & dia from discharge header to air cushion tank, fixing properly and securing the same to the base etc. complete in all respect having painting including two coats of approved paint over a coat of primer. The tank shall be fabricated out of 8 mm thick M.S. sheet, shall be of cylindrical shape with 800 mm dia. and 1.5 m height. The tank shall be installed on suitable vertical legs. The legs shall be provided with M.S. plate of size 75 mm x 75 mm x 8 mm at the bottom. The legs shall be grouted in cement concrete foundation. Flange connection shall be provided for connection with discharge header. The fabrication drawings of the tank shall be submitted to EIC and got approved by the department before fabrication. The tank shall be tested at 30 Kg/sq.cm. before installation. Note : Pressure switches shall be measured separately.
M.S. SEAMLESS PIPES: Supply, Installation of MS seamless pipe of following nominal sizes and wall thickness and conforming to ASTM A-106 Grade-B and testing at site with clean & potable water a pressure of 1.5 times of operating pressure for 120 minute duration and rectification of leaky joints after laying at site with all necessary specials/fittings, Mechanical/ flanged/ welded joints, Flanged/welded joints with various GI Pipes, elbows, Tees, Bends, Reducers, Collars, Nut & Bolts, jointing including painting with two coats of anti corrosion post office red paints over two coats of red oxide primer (for laying above ground) and including wrapping with 4 mm thick PYPKOTE insulation with adhesive coat in an approved manner as per the specifications and to correct alignment and levels including all hardware in including the testing the specials/ joints hydraulically for the pressure & duration and rectification of leaky joints as specified all as per drawings, specifications and instruction of E.I.C. Cost of all the items, accessories, fittings, tools and tackles, packing etc required to put pumping system into service shall also be included in rates quoted by bidders. Note: Any cutout/corecut required for laying the pipes shall be included in above item and no extra payment shall be made for the same.

C.I. GATE / SLUICE VALVE: 'Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double flanged CI gate (sluice) valves with non rising stem confirming to IS-14846 of rating PN 1.6, with all necessary fittings like flanges & including tail piece, socket flange, neoprene gaskets, nut bolts, hardware, flange joint etc. as per specifications and as directed by E-I-C. The valve should be with ISI mark and shall be tested with stem vertical as per IS sketch.

PRESSURE RELEASE VALVES / RELIEF VALVES: Supply, installation and testing of suitable Pressure release valve of 80 mm dia, of CI/DI body, with pressure setting range 7-15 kg/sqcm, in pipe line as per relevant IS, complete in all respect as required & as per instructions of E-I-C.
AIR RELEASE VALVE: Providing & Fixing of 20/25mm dia. (Type- PN 1.6, Type-S1, Flanged ISI marked) air valve confirming to IS- 14845:2000 with gun metal isolating valve including making necessary flanged/ threaded joints and providing all fitting materials, nuts, bolts, etc. and providing ‘T’ on D.I. /M.S. Pipeline for its installation and shall be tested as per specifications all as per specification and as directed by E.I.C.
M.S. SUPPORTS: Fabrication, supply and installation of MS support / Structure (Angle, Channel,Beam,Plate, Chequered Plate etc.) as required but not covered under specific items including Two coats of primer and painting etc. as per specifications and as instructed by E-I-C. DISPOSING OF SURPLUS MATERIALS: Disposing of the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport to the lead upto 2 km over the initial lead of 50 m including loading, unloading, spreading, levelling etc., complete all as per specifications and as directed. Note : Voids 20% for soils and 50% for AR/HR shall be deducted from stack/truck measurements to arrive at the net qty for payment in case if directed measurement is not possible.
PCC PEDESTAL: Providing PCC supports for underground pipe supports/ headers and other supports of 400 X 400 X 500mm size or instructed by EIC with cement morter 1:2:4 at a distance of 2.5 mtrs from centre to centre for 150 mm dia & above, and 2.0 m distance from centre to centre for below 150 mm dia pipes and with curing and finishing etc. for pipe line etc, all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by E-I-C. .
VALVE CHAMBER: Construction of brick masonry valve chambers for valves of 1.2 m width x 1.2 m length x 1.2 m depth comprising of 230 mm thick brick masonry in Cement mortar 1:4 over a bed of 150mm thick cement concrete of grade M15 for foundation with 150 mm offset all round, including providing & fixing M.S. steps/ foot rests/ rugs each weighing not less than 5 kg, first step at 450 mm from top of cover, remaining @ 300 mm centre to centre staggered with 380 mm spacing, painting etc. racking out joints & plastering in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick both on internal and external surfaces, internal surfaces finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement, providind 100 mm thick RCC slab casted in M.S. angle box frame of 25 mm x 25 mm x 5 mm size in three equal pieces with reinforcement weighing not less than 100 kg/cu.m., fabricated M.S. angle all round & M.S. flat stiffners including formwork as per drawing etc. complete with lifting hooks at top, providing & fixing C.I. circular surface box weighing not less than 14 kg. over the RCC slab for key rod operation, painting all as per specifications and directions of E.I.C. Including dewatering the pit, if required till completion of the work all complete.
FIRE BRIGADE CONNECTION: Supplying and installing fire brigade Header of 150 mm dia, GI, ‘C’ class pipe, 1 metre long consisting of 4 nos. 63 mm dia SS male inlet with built in check valve for supplying water in U/G tanks as per the given drawings, specification and instructions of the EIC.
ROAD CUTTING & RE-SURFACING: Cutting the existing asphalt road and demolishing WBM or BBM including rubble soling if any for providing services and making good the same after the work is satisfactorily completed, including relaying of soling doing water bound macadam, bituminous bound macadam road providing and laying 50 mm thick asphaltic layer etc, complete as directed by E-I-C.
FOOT PATH CUTTING & RE-SURFACING: Removing decorative tiles/ any other items with associated fitting materials from the footpath including rubble soling if any for providing services and making good the same after the work is satisfactorily completed, including relaying of tiles with associated fitting materials/brick works, braking of tiles/bricks should be replaces with same santandard with new one, finishing with cementing etc which are required for the work to be provided and, complete as directed by E-I-C.

PART - B : Electrical Works
LT Panel (IP 42/ 55): Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Electrical switchboards, powder coated floor mounting,front operated front access cubicle type, totally enclosed, with IP-42 / 55 protection with hinged and lockabale doors. It shall be fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheets including interconnections, tinned copper crimping lugs, bonding to earth, suitable for use at 415 V, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hertz system, and suitable for a fault level of 35 KA symmetrical at 415 V complete as per specifications, instructions & approval of EIC and as below : All switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top/bottom as required. All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The bus bars insulation shall be with heat shrinkable sleeves. SMC/DMC shrouds and busbar supports shall be used. The fire fighting Panel shall be red colour (RAL 3020) & domestic water supply Panel shall be RAL 7035 shade. Notes: 1) All G.A. & fabrication drawings shall be got approved from the E.I.C. Necessary touch up painting may be done at site, incase if required. The scope includes all tests as specified in department's specification, relevant I.S. and as required by E.I.C, shall have to be performed at factory & at installation site and shall be included in the quoted rate. 2) The equipment shall be designed to ensure complete safety during operation inspection, connection of cables etc. 3) Control wires shall be of 1.1 KV 1.5 sq.mm FRLS copper wires and neatly bunched separately and adequately supported so as to prevent sagging and strain on termination. 4) A minimum of 10% spare terminals shall be provided on each terminal block for future requirement. 5) All metallic parts of the equipment not carrying current shall be earthed with copper material 6) All concealed hinged doors and covers shall be provided with suitable flexible earthing connections. 7) The size of the earth bus chosen shall be to withstand full fault current of 36KA 8) Earth bus bar shall be supported at suitable intervals. 9) All the current transformers shall be resin cast type class-I only. 10) Name of fabricator, G.A. & detailed fabrication drawing and short circuit forces and temp rise calculation for panel shall be submitted for dept's approval. 11) Bimetallic washers shall be used for all aluminium to copper joints & it shall be of approved make & quality. 12) Indication lamps shall be heavy duty cluster type LED. 13) All Outgoing feeders shall have 'ON' indication lamps. 14) All neutrals shall be isolatable type.
LT Cables: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated, inner sheath & outer sheath PVC extruded with rodent and termite repellent properties, GI strip / wire armoured, multistranded / aluminium conductor power cable confirming to IS 7098 part-1 with upto date amendments, fixed on wall/column/slab/false ceiling or in existing hume pipe/trench/ shaft/pit/ on 5mm thick M.S. flat /GI spacer/angle/ support fixed with coach screws/grouted in wall/anchor fasteners 2mm. thick G.I. Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles or in ground at a - depth of 900 m below ground level including excavation, sand bedding, laying of baked bricks on side & top-, temporary reinstatement, back filling, dewatering, consolidation, disposal of excess earth within the radius of 500 mtrs etc providing brass cable number tag as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C & of the following sizes. The space between the two supports shall be 600mm. approx. Note : The cost of sealing hume pipe shall be included in the scope of work.

GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm earth station 2.5 m below ground level conforming to IS 3043 & as per drawing No.CED/E&M/STD-12 complete with all required materials like coke/charcoal, salt, hot dipped galvanised nut-bolts & washers, watering arrangement, G.I pipe (B class) masonary chamber, min. 10mm thick chequered plate cover associated materials like 40 x 40 x 5mm angle iron frame work, hinges, locking arrangement etc. & excavation in all types of soil, refilling & removal of excess earth.
