Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 mtr in depth and n.exc 1.5 m in width in any type of soil for laying cables and getting out complete all as specified.

Taking out serviceable/unserviceable XLPE LT cable aluminum conductor of size 6 to 16 sqmm 2/4 core from excavated trench/pole/over ground etc and retreived material to store kept in safe custody for reuse at site or for taking credit of cable to be replaced with new one all as specified and dirrected. Excavation and return filling will be paid saperately.

Taking down and Relaying full bricks for cable protection all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay LT PVC/XLPE insulated, armoured,heavy duty under ground electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of following cross-sectional area including cable lugs, jointing materials etc, laid in trenches fixed on poles or laid through GI pipes including taking down old cable. Note-: (i) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid seperately under relevant item. (ii) Sand & Brick to be safely / properly stagnated and reused as directed by Engr -in- Charge. (iii) Old U/S cable shall be the property of contractor and will be measured in Sch of credit. (a) 2 core 6 sq. mm

M & L in replacement of LT Cable straight through type jointing kit heat shrinkable including all jointing material & accessories suitable for 1100 Volt grade aluminium conductor cables of size 6 to 16 sq mm 2 core.

Supply and fixing in replacement of GI pipe light grade 40 mm bore for cable protection.

Supply and spreading dry river sand in trenches for cushioning of cable 8 cm layer before laying the cable and 15cm thick layer after laying the cable. Note-Sand layer shall be paid for 18mm only after well pressed.

Supplying and laying dry bricks in trenches over under ground electric cable for mechanical protection with width equal to length of bricks with well burnt sub class ‘B’ old size bricks laid flat complete.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm thick.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m from the starting point.

Material and labour for replacement of unserviceable street light bracket made out of GI pipe 1.2 mtr long 40mm dia medium grade bent to shape as directed including MS clamps made out of 25mmX3mm flat iron for fixing bracket suitable for PCC/ street poles including nuts and bolts of required size including painting with one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide / primer all as directed incl taking down of old unsv bracket.

Supply & fixing in replacement surge protection device of 10 KV rating compatible with industrial outdoor fitting with rated power upto 150 Watts all as directed by Engr in charge.
