CA NO. GE(P)AF/GUR-22/2022-23 REPAIR, REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE, FLAME PROOF LIGHTS, UNSERVICEABLE POINT WIRING AND ALLIED WORK FOR LIGHTING PROTECTION SYSTEM AT WSA OF AF STN GURGAON UNDER GE (P) AF GURGAON.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, (fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets etc. to be measured separately), removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody for re-use at site/Sch of credit and making good disturbed surface of walls, floors, etc., complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Point wiring complete with HRFR PVC insulated unsheathed , 1100 V grade conforming to IS 694 , 1.5 Sqmm (Norminal area) multistranded ,copper conductor cable drawn through in stove enamelled steel conduit medium grade ,minimum 20 mm dia conceled in wall , ISI Marked, and connect accessories, mounting on suface of walls / ceilings /roofs etc including provision of HRFR PVC insulated unsheathed 1.5 Sqmm muiltistranded green colour copper conductor cable as earth connectivity and connecting to common earth dolly for One light point controlled by one way one switch SP 5 Amp, 240 Volts complete alongwith matching the surface with the existing paint all as specified and directed .

Taking down carefully Flame proof wall mounted fan 18" size, single phase for rewinding and replacement of unserviceable parts required complete and refix the same all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of sub main wiring with multistranded FR copper conductor cable PVC sheathed in and including concealed suitable size PVC conduit medium grade with fittings and two runs of 6 Sqmm and one run of 6 Sqmm FR copper conductor as earth wire and connected to earth dolly all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. ( The item includes cutting Chasis and making good the disturbed surfaces).

S&F Flame Proof Distribution Box 8 way, 63Amp TPN 415 Volts, IP 65 protection alongwith MCBs and rotary type nobe complete set all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Flame Proof Distribution Box 4 way, 40Amp DP 415V , IP65 protection alongwith with MCBs and rotary type nobe complete set all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F Flame Proof Weather Proof bulkhead LED light IP-66 alongwith Temp Glass, Material LM6 alongwith HPMV Lamp 80Watt 240V all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Make :Sudhir/Shyam

S&F single pointed air termination aluminium rod 1500 mm long 20 mm dia of superior quality of the rod for fixing on stand post on the rooftop of the building etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of Air temination Rod 1500mm long 20mm dia with 2 coat of silver enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge

Dismantling and taking up old existing unserviceable earth plate with strip earthing and connected items upto test point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6.3mm thick, buried directly in ground (earthpit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip of 32x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers of GI or steel all as shown in Electrical plate No 3 including earth work final with watering arrangement, wire mesh, GI pipe 20mm internal dia bore buried directly vertical and adjacent to the electrode for watering and 40mm GI Pipe 40mm dia for GI Strip , PCC pit 1:3:6 type C-1using 20mmgraded stone aggregate and RCC chamber cover in 1:2:4 type B1 of size 550 x 550mm with 8 mm dia TMT bar of 100mm C/C both ways including of returning, filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m as specified and directed including testing on completion. (Note: The rate includes conection of strip to the test box and If value is not found below 03 Ohm the earthing will be done again . No extra claim will be admissible to the contractor on this account.)

Taking out existing earthing system with all accessories including copper/GI strip of any size /any position and material and labour for making new hole of 150 mm dia and 3.0 mtr depth or excavation of earthing size 1.5x1.5x3.5 meter one pits. Supply and filling in micronite (bentonite) base earthing enhancement micronite compound(0.001ohms mtr conductive grounding granuals 25 Kg Each pits ) in existing each pits as per relevent IS and achieving the desired earth result complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in Charge . (Each earth pit shall include minimum 25 Kg (one bags of 25 Kg each) NABL Lab Certified marconite Agreegate and Cement 12.5 Kgs for filling bore holes with water mixed in 2:1 ratio (two part of Micronite Agreegate compound and one parts of cement), so as to achieve earth resistance below 1 Ohm including RCC pit Box cover shall be deemed to be included in the rate quated) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge ) Note: 1.Work will be done with satisfaction of users with result of 01 Ohm and below. 2. If value is not found below 01 Ohm the earthing will be done again . No extra claim will be admissible to the contractor on this account.

Material and labour for maintenance free safe earthing system UL 467 approved/ CPRI tested copper bonded ( copper cladded earth rod with 250 microns of copper cladding) earth rod 17.2mm dia. 3.0 mtr long electrode buried in ground to bore holes 120 mm dia. vertically to a depth not less than 3.50 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of earth electrode at a depth not less than 0.5 mtr below normal ground level with copper earth lead strip 25mm x 3mm and further connected to test point terminal block all as directed. Earth pit shall include minimum 50 Kg (two bags of 25 Kg each) NABL Lab Certified back fill compound for filling bore holes with mother soil mixed in 1:3 ratio (one part of back fill compound and three parts of mother soil), so as to achieve earth resistance below 1 Ohm including excavation of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover (cost of polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :(a) Copper strip more than 3Mtrs shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Earthing resistance result shall be less than 1 Ω .If the result comes more than 1 Ω, the contractor shall carry out the earthing at separate location /site given by the Engr-in-Charge after taking out of earth electrode without any extra cost to the deptt. (c) Test point terminal block shall be measured and paid separately. (d) Any other fittings/fixtures if technically required for acheiving desired results (if not included above) shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. (e) If resisatance of soil required grid then the set of 4 Electrode to be buried in ground and interconnected with copper strip bus bar and this strip shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall / roof and connecting air termination to test point with 20 x 3 mm copper strip including taking down existing aluminium/GI strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge . Note :- (i) Laying / fixing of strip from air termination to test point shall be in one run i.e. there shall be no joint in between air termination. In case joint is required, it shall be jointed with nut & bolt joint with breezing full contact of strip. ii) Strip shall be fixed on insulator at the interval not more than 900mm in such a manner at any place it shall not touch to wall/ roof / any metalic body. (Cost of insulator shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of Sch of works as supply only)

M&L in replacement for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to Floor/wall / roof/Air termination and connecting Machinery to test point with 20x3 mm aluminium strip including taking down existing aluminium/GI strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .Note :- (i) Laying / fixing of strip from air termination to test point shall be in one run i.e. there shall be no joint in between air termination. In case joint is required, it shall be jointed with nut & bolt joint with breezing full contact of strip. ii) Strip shall be fixed on insulator at the interval not more than 900mm in such a manner at any place it shall not touch to wall/ roof / any metalic body. (Cost of insulator shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of Sch of works as supply only)

M&L in replacement for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to Floor/wall / roof/Air termination and connecting Machinery to test point with 25x4 mm aluminium strip including taking down existing aluminium/GI strip complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge .Note :- (i) Laying / fixing of strip from air termination to test point shall be in one run i.e. there shall be no joint in between air termination. In case joint is required, it shall be jointed with nut & bolt joint with breezing full contact of strip. ii) Strip shall be fixed on insulator at the interval not more than 900mm in such a manner at any place it shall not touch to wall/ roof / any metalic body. (Cost of insulator shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items of Sch of works as supply only)

M&L in replacement for making stand post (1 m long) each made out of GI Pipe 50 mm dia medium grade for fixing on the roof top of the building, etc.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacement for making PCC block of size 25 X 25 X 25 cm in CM 1:2:4 Type B1 with 20 mm graded stone for arresting GI pipe post on the roof top of the building complete, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in relacement for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze /brass size (75 x 75 x10) mm drilled and 3 nos brass screwed 8 mm dia ,10 mm long hex.head screw complete including GI fabricated test point box size 150mm x 100mm x 75mm height with front openable made out of not less than 0.6 mm thick PGI sheet including painting complete all as specified and as directed by engr- in charge.

M& L in replacement for fixing of GI Pipe 50mm dia light grade laid in trenchless and cover ot the strips all as specified and directed by Engr-in -charge

Supply only porcelin viterous white/ brown/ green insulators of sizes 25mm x 25mm having provision of two holes for fixing on roof / wall under strip/ channel on top for running of down conductors to maintain gap between wall and down conductors etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for repair of earthing pit with brick work and PCC 1:3:6 including RCC pit cover of size 300x300mmx50mm thick with provision of opening handle complete including necessary watering, ramming and compact of soil near the earth pit all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge

S&F in relacement of heavy duty, weatherproof earthing pit cover of Poly plastic of dia 260mmx350mm as specified and directed by Engr--in-charge

S&F explosion proof flexible flame proof conduit 45cm long of size 20mm having cable gland of 1 to 1.5" size as specified and directed by engr-in-charge

S& F in replacement ACSR conductor 10mm dia alongwith disc insulator with all necessay item required for connection approved make all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

M & L for improvment of the earth resistance by using salt and charcoal and checking and measuring the earth resistance of earthing for lightening arrester and equipment earthing with earth resistance tester every months with compiling the following -: (a) Collecting the water from near by source and filling in earth pit before one day from checking the earth resistance.(80Ltr water and 05Kgs salt in each earthing) (b) Tightening of earth strip connection on test point and earth pit. (c) The earth resistance value of all earthing pit should be recorded in resister duly signed by JE E/M. (d) pouring salt and charcoal for improving the earth resistance

Note:- The amount of Rs 2,65,350/- against Schedule of Credit on Page No 111 shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance
