Renovation of Staff Quarters Type-III- 10 nos. and Type-IV 07 nos. at CSIR-NGRI, Hyderabad

Part A- Civil Work-Dismantling tile work in floors, dado and roofs laid in cement mortar including all lead and lift and stacking as per Engineer-in-charge and dispose the dismantled/demolished un-useful materials along compound wall in-side the NGRI campus as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge . For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Hacking of CC flooring including cleaning for surface etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying Glazed/matt/antiskid finish vitrified floor tiles(make of RAK/ORIENT/Kajaria premium or equivalent ) in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorptions less than 0.08% and conforming to IS :15622 of approved make , in all colours and shades, built in design tiles etc.including providing different coloured tiles of required size in designs as per instructions of Engineer in-charge including fixing with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS 15477 in average 6 mm thickness including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc complete.

Removing dry or oil bound distemper by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. (Note:- The removing of paint must be carried out by using a dry paint sander machine with vacuum suction means dust free. Contractor must be enaged minimum three machine at time.) Without machine work will be not excuted.

Applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface:

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint as approved by Engineer-in-charge, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required,(make of Asian or equivalent) to achieve even shade and colour. New work (two or more coats) over and including one priming coat with base coat

Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand)

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 25 mm average thickness
