S & F in repair Air termination, single pointed Aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair aluminum strip, 25 x 3.15 mm with saddle / porcelain insulator and fixing screws etc. on roof / wall and connecting to Air termination rod and test point etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm with saddle / porcelain insulator and fixing screws etc. on roof / wall and connecting to Air termination rod and test point etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair aluminum strip, 32 x 6 mm with saddle / porcelain insulator and fixing screws etc. on roof / wall and connecting to test point etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Test point terminal block, made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled screwed including 3 Nos, 8mm dia, 25mm long hex head screw including connecting up aluminium / copper strip / wire complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs GI tubing, medium grade, 40mm bore in vertical position of 1.50m length for mounting of Air termination rod and embedded in PCC (The rate of PCC and Air termination rod shall be paid separately under appropriate items of this BOQ) complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair Earth continuity conductor, or main earthing lead of size 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6:) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in base support of struts and other similar location etc with and including all necessary form work complete all as specified an directed.

M & L for Chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 900x600x5mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50m below ground level connected to copper strip of size 32mm X 6mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of copper connected to earthing test point all as specified including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil incl 50 mm GI tubing medium grade just above from copper plate and necessary fitting for protection of Copper strip incl alternate layer of charcoal, salt crystal and magnesium sulphate crystal as specified below :- (a) The copper plate strip should be 900 x 600 x 5mm thick . (b) The quantity used should be (i) Charcoal - 250 Kg (ii) Salt crystal - 200 Kg (iii) Magnesium sulphate crystal - 100 kg. (c) 20 mm bore GI pipe of enough length to reach just above copper plate fitted with funnel, meshed alongwith cap and running water should be provided for keeping the soil wet approx one metre GI pipe be kept out side for connection of running water. (d) The pit shall be constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate). RCC slab shall be provided in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm grade stone aggregate ) 50 mm thick pit cover reinforced with 10 mm dia TMT bars 75 mm C/c both ways MS handle 12 mm dia. PGD funnel wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore light grade and earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5m , 50 mm bore (light grade) pipe shall be included in this item, complete all as specified & directed and as shown on electrical plate of SSR Part I (2009) and connected to earth test including testing. Note :- (i) GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore light grade and earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5 , 50 mm bore (light grade) pipe shall be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) Additional material if any required are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level connected to GI strip of size 25mm X 4mm by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel connected to earthing test point all as specified including excavation and earth work and disposal of surplus soil, 40 mm bore GI tubing medium grade and necessary fitting for protection of GI strip including laying of charcoal dust and common salt PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate earth pit with 40x40x6mm MS angle iron frame, RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate), reinforced with 6 mm dia round bar @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, plastering 15mm thick CM (1:6) internally and upto 150mm below ground level externally, PGI funnel with 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade for watering and wire mesh complete all as specified and shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part - I (2009) and connected to earth test point including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) GI watering pipe of 20 mm bore light grade and earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5m, 50 mm bore (light grade) pipe shall be included in unit rate quoted.
