Dismantling existing unserviceable Aluminium conductors, steel reinforced (ACSR conductor) from overhead lines on LT poles, of any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Dismantling existing unserviceable continuous GI earth wire / guard / cradles of any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting and re-stretching ACSR conductor of any size and re-fixing with and including new 2mm dia aluminum binding wire complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for cutting / trimming of tree branches touching / approaching the LT over lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw / axe to clear the LT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 metre away inside the cantonment area & cleaning site as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Length of each conductor shall be measured as one length.

S&F GI wire including stretching on LT poles as contineous earth wire or for guarding and cradles including binding as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: -(i) For payment purpose, weight of galvanised wire shall only be considered. Clamps, eye hooks where provided shall be measured and paid for separately

Supplying, fixing & stretching aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including 2 mm binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: - (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminum tapes etc. which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size multiplied by length of span and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.

S&F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator of size 100mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator suitable for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Inspection/Checking of street light fitting 30/45/60/72/90 watt LED light fittings etc for tighting the connection with replacement of twin core multi stranded 1.5 sqmm aluminium wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Ladder wheel shall be arranged by the Contractor. (ii) The cost of wire replaced will not be paid seprately in over head conductors.

Taking down street light fitting upto 30/45/60/72/90 watt LED light fittings etc for finding faults including cleaning glass with castic soda solution and refixing the same in existing position after carrying out necessary repair / replacement of unserviceable parts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The accessories / spare parts which are required to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only”. (ii) Ladder wheel shall be arranged by the Contractor. (iii) Detection and rectification of fault in over head/under ground line shall be done by the contractor.

Supply only in replacement electronic driver 220/240 volts suitable for existing LED Street light fitting 45 watts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Wipro / Philips / Syska / Crompton / Surya or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'A' here-in-after.

Supply only in replacement electronic driver 220/240 volts suitable for existing LED Street light fitting 60 watts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Wipro / Philips / Syska / Crompton / Surya or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'A' here-in-after.

Supply only in replacement 10 KV surge protector suitable for LED fittings 45 / 60 / 72 / 90 watts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Crompton Cat part No SRPSQ-10KV/5KA-440 or equivalent in makes mentioned in Appendix 'A' here-in-after.

Supply only weather proof PVC insulated, sheathed three core stranded aluminium conductor cable of size 2.5 Sqmm, 1100 Volts grade conforming to IS:9968 (Part-I) 1988 or IS:694-1990 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair street light bracket made out of 32mm dia GI pipe light grade 1.2m long , bent to shape at 120 degree angle from vertical fixed along pole with and including required number of clamp made out of Flat iron 25mm x 6mm with nuts, bolts ,washers etc. duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconecting and taking down existing unservicable unserviceable street light fittings of any type and make along with accessories as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes:- (i) Any T & P and Ladder wheel required for the work shall be arranged by the Contractor. The rate of this aspect is included in this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Fixing only street light fitting after repair and replacement of required spare parts installed with same or other location including connection for street light from pole box with 1.5 Sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor FRLSH cable, 1100 Volts grade ISI marked including addition / alteration in bracket (if required) for fixing light fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note :- Street light retrieved vide item No 15 here-in-before shall be used under this item.

Supply, fixing and testing LED Street / Security light fitting of 45 Watt, 5700K - 6500 K (including LED drive and internally prewired) complete with body robust, corrosion resistant, superior finish and without any cracks or through holes, made in a single piece by high pressure die cast aluminum alloy. The luminaries shall be monolithic construction totally enclosed dust and water proof with IP -65 / 66 protection as per IS - 10322-1982(Part -I) with latest amendments and input voltage range 140 - 300 V, AC, frequency 50 - 60 Hz ,P.F should be more than 0.9 with Total Harmonic Distortion THD(I) less than 15% ,cool white colour and lamp starting time should not be more than 10 second including 10 KV surge protection in built or external. Driver should be constant current constant voltage driver. Driver should have high voltage withstanding capacity upto 300 V, AC. Driver should also have double phase protection, no load , open circuit and short circuit protection .LED light fitting should be suitable for ambient temperature from -10 degree Centigrade to 50 degree Centigrade and humidity level 10% to 90 % RH. Covers should be polycarbonate/toughened glass to ensure minimum IP 65 degree protection. Cover should not degrade due to heating and ageing. The efficiency of LED luminaries system shall be more than 100 lumens per watt and must be certified by the LM-79 test report and including connection for street light from pole box with 1.5 Sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor FRLSH cable, 1100 Volts grade ISI marked including addition / alteration in bracket (if required) for fixing light fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but LED street / security light of 60 watt Notes for srl Item No 17 & 18 :- (a) Tenderer shall submit test report of LED street light fitting from Government accredited test laboratory for LM - 79 and LM - 80 . (b) Contractor has to furnish a replacement warranty of 05 years for LED light fittings complete including lamps from the date of completion of CA. Contractor shall obtain warranty from the manufacturer of product on their letter head and submit the same to deparment alonwith his letter head. The product will be replaced free of cost in the following case :- (i) Manfacturing defects (ii) Failure due to mechanical and electrical impact. (iii) Drop in lumen (or lux at 1 m) below 90% of clamied values of lumen(or lux at 1 m) of the LED /Luminaries. (c) All LED light/luminare must meet the provision laid down in IS - 16101 , 16102 Part -I/II ,16103 Part -I , 16104 ,16105 ,16106 , 16108/2012 and 15885 Part -II / Section 13. (d) Scope of work shall include supply and fixing street light fittings on street light bracket fixed on poles, If street light fitting requires to fixed on existing street light bracket and any addition alterration required in bracket for fixing street light, In that case cost of additional / alteration is included in the unit rate of this item, which also includes needful T & P and required accessories such as 1.5 sqmm, 3 core PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cable for connection from pole box to light fitting etc complete including making connection, testing etc complete .No extra payment is admissible on this account. (e) Light fittings shall be provided with 10 KV surge protection as mentioned in description of item. If 10 KV surge protection is not provided in light fitting for which cat part is mentioned in BOQ. Contractor has to provide light fitting with 10 KV surge protection without any extra cost to department. (f) Contractor shall write CA No on street light fitting with synthetic enamel paint which should be visible from ground level. Cost of the same is included in the unit rate of this item nothing shall be extra paid on this account.

S&F in replacement cable junction box of size not less then 300x200x105mm, made of high quality thermo plastic polystyrene, weather proof, dust, jet water proof, chemical, acid corrosion, impact, insulated & shock proof IP 65 for outdoor Installation with internallly embedded gasket (PUR) including MCB SP 6 Amps 01 No along with left side hinge door (notch arrangement not acceptable) & premoulded knockout all sides including back of the base must. The box fitted with 10 sqmm stud type terminal - 04 Nos including Elimex stud type TB 4 Nos. Make :- Syntex / Hensal / Indokop Note :- (i) Cost of flat iron clamp is deemed to included in unit rate of this items. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Size of junction box for different mafufacturer may slightly varried from size mentioned in description of item. Contractor has to provide junction box as per cat No mentioned against make of junction box. where cat No is not mentioned against any make, in that case junction box of size mentioned in description has to provide, if exact size of junction box is not available, then next higher size junction box has to be provided. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Inspection/checking of APFC panel 3 phase, 440 voltage 50 Hz AC supply system to improve power factor 0.80 to 0.98 automatic step wise switched capacitor panel to make it serviceable with the help of connecting relays, capacitors, contactors, MCB's, CT's etc and rectifying the defects, replacement of unserviceable part as required at site and cleaning of AMF panel as detecting during inspection or pointed out by users/department and carry out maintenance complete all as specified as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Spare parts required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as supply only..

M&L for painting on steel tubular poles 9 metre long including attachments (cross arms, clamps GI pipes etc) complete with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of steel surfaces and black & yellow strips 30cm each upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC foundation block or PCC coping including numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint (Black) in 80mm high letters over 150mmx230mm yellow base complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of PCC pole and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint in black and yellow colour in alternate strips of 30 cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping and applying two coat of aluminum paint over cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc. and marking pole number with white synthetic enamel paint in 80mm high letters, over black synthetic enamel paint base of size 20cm x 20cm including applying two coats of white wash to coping of poles all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Pole number shall be marked with white enamel paint over a base of size 20cm x 20cm prepared with two coats of black enamel paint on pole surfaces.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, filling & mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Laying, jointing, commissioning and testing in replacement XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 185 sq mm 3.5 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions. (iii) Cable required for laying shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free for fixing only.

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 240 sq mm 3.5 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc including taking down old unserviceable cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting / floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions.

All as per item No 51 above but cable of cross sectional area 120 sq mm 3.5 core

(Approximate length of span 40 to 50 metre) Note:-The contractor shall be responsible to maintain this item of work till the date of completion work. Nothing shall extra be paid on this account.

Taking out old unserviceable underground LT Cable with standad aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area upto 10 sqmm 2 core to 95 Sqmm 3.5 core form trenches / floor / road / pipe / along poles and relaying in the same location after repair complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earthwork, sand cushioning, cable cover, cable protection & GI Pipe shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.

All as per item No 70 above but cable of cross sectional area 120 sqmm to 300 sqmm

S&F in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 using stay rod 16 mm dia x 1800mm long, stay bow 14mm dia and stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm including stay wire 8 SWG x 7 strands, loop type insulator with over all dimensions 90x140mm and clearence of hole 25.5mm, stay clamps and painting to exposed surfaces of mild steel work with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation, earthwork and PCC in foundation shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.

S&F in replacement cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :Exposed steel surface shall be treated with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil & getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down unservicbable ACB of capacity 630/800 Amps from the LT panel and disconnecting the same for repair/replacement following parts:- (a) Decarbonizing of busbar and all defective parts - 01 Job (b) Replacement of control wiring - 01 Job (c) Replacement of heat shrinkable insulation of busbar with colour coding - 01 Job (d) Replacement of Male / Female contactor (e) Toggle switch (f) Repairing to triping mechanism including replacement of all defective parts - 01 Job After repair reassebling / refixing the same in the LT panel and testing the same for proper working complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- All necessary spare parts shall be provided by the contractor. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

S&F as in repair of ACB 4 pole, 415 volts, 2500 Amps, 50 KA electrical draw out type and motor mechanism & closing coil with microprocessor relay comprising with earth fault, over load and short circuit complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Taking out bricks in trenches of cable protection cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note :- Excavation shall be measured and paid seprately in respective item.

M & L for relaying of old serviceable bricks retrieved vide item No 108 of for cable protection of underground cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note :- A sum of Rs. 376418/- will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
