The rate shall be inclusive of filter material, if required, to be provided to prevent fine particles in the adjecent ground to be carried away by flowing water and to prevent clogging of the system. Note:- The dewatering executed during delayed period of execution beyond the construction schedule shall not be paid when delay is attributable to the contractor.

Making drainage arrangements behind lining by excavating longitudinal drains of trapezodial section in the bed of channel and disposal of earth with all leads & lifts, loading & unloading, dressing the bottom and sides of the drain, and the items given below complete in all respects as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge : Providing and laying of filter material for drains consisting of coarse sand of FM 1.50 or above, gravels of nominal size 5-20 mm and 20-40 mm including carriage, loading & unloading, grading, laying and compaction. Providing and laying perforated PVC pipe of nominal outer dia 160 mm (working pressure 0.6 MPa) into drains for all depths with correct alignment, gradient, levels, cutting & jointing etc including fixing in position PVC tees, cross, cap and other required fittings for PVC pipes including all materials, carriage,loading, unloading and all leads & lifts etc.
Making Drainage arrangements behind lining by excavating transverse drains of trapezoidal section in the bed of channel and disposal of earth with all leads & lifts loading &unloading dressing the bottom and sides of the drain and the items given below complete in all respects as per drawings design specification & the instructions of the Engineer i) Providing and laying of filter material for drains consisting of 200 gsm. Geo textile and gravels of nominal size 20-40 M.M including placing, anchorage of Geo-textile, carriage, loading and unloading, grading and compaction.incharge. ii) Providing and laying perforated PVC pipe of nominal outer dia 160 mm (working pressure 0.6 MPa) in drains for all depths with correct alignment, gradient,levels, cutting and jointing etc. including fixing in position PVC tees.cross cap and other required fitting for PVC pipe including all materials, carriage loading , unloading and all lead & lifts.
