CONSTRUCTION OF GREEN HOUSE AND NET HOUSE as per standard norms prescribed by National Horticulture Board (The specifications for one block of 300 m2 (300 m2 x 2 blocks = 600 m2) are given below:-
Main Structure: Channel Type Structure Made of 2m thick, GI (square pipe) section, including cutting, bended in required shape, ,complete as per requirements, design need to be sound enough to withstand wind speed minimum 120 km/hr and minimum load of 25kg/m2 Vertical members: 60x60mm,47x47mm Roof truss: 47 x 47mm, Horizontal runners etc, 38 x 38 mm, Truss member/other support: 32 x 32mm ± 1mm
Doors: 1.2 m x 2.5 m made of GI Pipe 2mm thickness with door closer & all hardware accurately sealed with door seal (Hinge type)
Covering: with clear standard Polycarbonate Sheet U. V. Stabilized 10 mm thick four wall for roof and sides fixed with aluminium profile and silicon sealing (For polycarbonate sheets with silicon sealing)
Shade screen: UV Stabilized 50 % shading net folding system with manually operated mechanism for expanding and retracting. Size of net should be equal to the floor area of green house.
Fogging System: To increase the humidity up-to 80% ± 5% by providing 4 way fogging Nozzles hanging type, with fine discharge (28-30 lh) at 4bar pressure, with pump 2.0 HP, Disc filter etc. complete, spacing 1.5x1.5m (Sand filter 10 m3/hr, Disc filter 10 m3/hr etc.as per requirement.)
Electric Fitting: Complete electrical wiring of green house with copper wire in PVC conduit, MCB, main switch, light/ power points as per requirement all fitting/ fixture should be of ISI marked/ standard make/ brand, Green house panel should be connected to main power supply source (approx 100 m) by laying underground/ over head armored conductor make- Polycab or Anchor or any ISI standard make.
Heating Device: heat convector with fan blower of standard design 2.5 Kw each to increase the temperature during winter season.
Cooling System: Evaporating with fan and with corrugated cellulose coated cooling pad 6’’thick height 5’,width,saturation efficiency :90%, as desired equipped with anodized fixed in aluminium frame, water circulating pump 1.5 HP, Co-axial fan (ISI Mark / BIS standard ) four no. 1250 mm containing 6 numbers of SS Sheet blades materials followed by aluminium louver, maximum flow (m3/ h: 23.000,sound level : 67Db(A),Axial fan belt driven slow speed with 1.5 HP single / 3 phase motor. Four Air circulators (hanging type) Net cage: To protected cooling pad from dust and direct entry of insect back side of pad area should be covered with 40 mesh net living 2m distance with provision of small door for maintenance. Curtain and insect screen: Roll up UV Stabilized 200 micron transparent plastic film as curtain need to be provided upto height 3.0 m on pad sides having automatic type motor operated crank mechanism system. However provision for manual opening and closing of curtain s need also to be provided .40 mesh insect net (UV STABILIZED ) of equitant size need to be fixed inside the curtain .Anti flapping strip is suggested to insure smooth functioning of curtain. This area is not included in 300 m2 and this is extra corridor area for maintenance. make- Quality system or agrolt solutions or green pro or any ISI standard make.
Lighting: LED with weather proof fixture for visibility make- Croma or Havells or Syska or any ISI standard make.
Growing Lights: LED 100W having good quality range of photo synthetically active radiations distributed uniformly across chamber make- Croma or Havells or Syska or any ISI standard make.
Air curtain: 3’ wide installed above door with auto ON/OFF switch attached with door
Bench: hot dipped galavaized steel support frame made up of 20 x40mm rectangular pipe2mm thick size 8’x3’x2.5’ made of GI pipe, with GI mesh top (non rusted water resistance or as per requirements.)
Earth work: excavation in trenches & foundation
Foundation: Grouting of side poles (1¼’ x 1¼’ x 2.5’ below earth surface in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1: cement, 4 coarse sand, 4 stone aggregate)
PCC: 1:5:10 in foundation
Bricks wall: With FPS bricks in 1:6 CM, all side of the Green House 2.0’ above GL with 1.5’ below earth surface
Plaster: 12mm thick in 1:4 CM (1 cement, 4 fine sand)
Flooring: 40mm thick 1:2:4, anti-slippery with proper drainage slops. (in case of benching system used). Floor to be raised 2.5ft by filing soil from existing level along with protected retaining wall complete with RCC Beam and RCC piller.
Plinth Protection: 60 cm wide 50 mm thick 1:3:6 CC over 75 mm thick bricks bat base all side of green house. Make- Hi-tech
Painting: Painting of walls with 2 or more coat of apex exterior of approved colour/ shade
Plumbing work: For Main supply 5000 ltr as main feeder tank placed on 6-7’ platform, which is connected to main water source approx 100m with necessary PVC fitting, 2 x 1000 lit Misting & cooling system
Wash basins: One with tape & water supply connections, excess irrigation with cocks (2 points), PVC hose pipe of 100’ length,
Rain water harvesting: Gutter 2.0 mm thick G.I sheet trapezoidal section, with PVC drain pipe and connected to main water reservoir approx 30-40m Make: - Jain Irrigation or Finolex or any ISI standard make.
Power Back-up: There will be a sound proof (acoustic enclosure) power backup of 50 KVA DG set with automatic panel (for total area). Installed under shed CC platform and proper earthing Make: - Kirloskar or Koel or any ISI standard make
Side vents By providing 4 window on side wall and partition wall size (1.0m x 0.50m), vent area will be covered with SS mesh, fixed with aluminium beading for complete area.

Covering: roof covered with UV stabilized 200 micron transparent plastic sheet, along with wire netting coverage Plastic covered with net with U.V. Stabilized 50 % shade net (monofilament) fixed with aluminium profile and zigzag spring insert. Side covered with 40 mess insect net (120 gsm) and bottom apron fixed on G.I. pipe 42 mm OD/ 2 mm thickness with profile & spring Make: - Green Pro or Ginegar or Suncool (any ISI standard make)
Sprinkler System: by providing micro sprinkler nozzles hanging type, with discharge (70-105 lh) at 4bar pressure, with pump 1.5 HP, Disc filter etc. complete, spacing 3.0 x 3.0 m Make: - Jain Irrigation or Finolex or any ISI standard make.
Foundation: Grouting of side poles (45x45x90 cm) below earth surface in cement concrete 1:2:4 (1: cement, 4 coarse sand, 4 stone aggregate)
