Carrying out urgent repairs at multiple spot of 400 mm Dia MS Rising Main of WSS Doodhganga.

Amount

Shifting of welding equipment, diesel operated dewatering pump, tools and tackles and man power from contractor’s warehouse/Workshop to site for carrying out the necessary repairs including back shifting of equipment back to ware house / workshop.

Earth work in excavation by manual means in trenches for foundations, drains pipes, cables etc. (not exceeding 1.5 M in width) and for shafts, wells, cesspits and the like not exceeding 10 Sq.M on Plan, including dressing, of sides and ramming of bottoms lift upto 1.5 M, including getting out excavated earth and disposal of surplus excavated earth as directed; All kinds of soil. The details of which are as under: Earthwork = 2 M x 1 M x 1.25 M = 2.5 CUM (spot 1) Earthwork = 2 M x 2 M x 1.25 M = 5 CUM (spot 2) Earthwork = 2 M x 2 M x 1.25 M = 5 CUM (spot 3)

Dewatering of accumulated water from the trench by way of using dewatering pump. The job also includes arranging of fuel required for operation of pump, suction and delivery hoses for disposal of accumulated water. (Tentative Dewatering Hours taken in considerations are 6 hrs).

Rectification of damaged portion of 400 mm Dia MS Rising main by way of arranging and using an electric arc welding machine, electric cables, tools and tackles for carrying out repairs / rectification job successfully, besides, job includes arranging and consuming of superior quality welding electrodes of reputed make to achieve a leak proof welding joint. The job includes utilizing services of highly skilled workers at site. The welding shall have to be carried out at single or multiple spots to arrest the leakage completely. The repaired / rectified spot be tested for leakages post repairs. The job also includes providing of any other Metal Plate / Strip / any other suitable part for rectification of leakage if required. spot 1

Rectification of leakage at additional two spots of 400 mm Dia MS Rising main by way of using an already available electric arc welding machine, electric cables, tools and tackles for carrying out repairs / rectification job successfully, besides, job includes arranging and consuming of superior quality welding electrodes of reputed make to achieve a leak proof welding joint. The job includes utilizing services of highly skilled workers at site. The welding shall have to be carried out at single or multiple spots to arrest the leakage completely. The repaired / rectified spot be tested for leakages post repairs. The job also includes providing of any other Metal Plate / Strip / any other suitable part for rectification of leakage if required. (spot 2 and 3)

Filling available excavated earth ( excluding rocks ) including already excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering , lead upto 50 Mtrs and lifts upto 1.5 M
