Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 mtr. Transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with lead upto 10.00 kms as per Technical Specification clause 301.5

Granular Sub Base (GSB) Construction of granular sub base by providing well graded material, spreading inuniform layers on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smoothwheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per TEchnical specification clause 401

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (pug mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub base/ base course on a well prepared sub base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100 KN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion etc as per table 400.11 and 400.12 and technical specification clause 406.

Primer Coat over Granular Base (with Emulsion SS-1 Bulk) Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) Bulk on prepared surface of granular base inculding cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate 0.85 kg./sqm using mechnical means as per Technical specification clause 502

Tack Coat (With VG-10 bitumen @ 0.275 kg. /Sqm) Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using tar boiler / pressure distributor at the rate of 0.75 kg. per sqm. On the prepared granualr surface treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical specification clause 503

20mm thick Open -Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (with VG-30 Bitumen) Providing laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6mm aggregates using penetration grade bitumen VG-30 to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previosly prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, transported to site, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type 'B' as per Technical specification clause 508

Hazard Marker sign board 300x900mm rectangular as per IRC 67-2001 with retro reflective high intensity microprismatic grade sheeting fixed over 2mm thick aluminium sheet with 25x25x3mm angle iron frame supported on a mild steel angle iron post 65x65x6mm firmly fixed to ground including foundation concrete 1:2:4 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m for vertical post complete as per technical clause 801 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and fixing of Delinators (Roadway Indicators) not less than 800mm high above ground level. The delinator shall have a core & shell construction which shallbe madeof tough, high impact resistant, injection - moulded, thermoplastic outer body. The inner core shall consist of powder coated or painted mild steel of minimum thickness1.00mm, The delinatorshould have top retro-reflective unit consisting of white colour micro prismatic non matallic retro reflective sheeting on both sides having minimum exposed area of 125 sq.cm each side and bottom retro reflectiveunit consisting of red colour micro prismatic non matallic retro reflective sheeting on both sides having minimum exposed area of 35 sq.cm each side confirming to ASTM D4956 type XI standards. The delinators shall be fixed to the groundby insertingthe root of the delinators upto the marked portionand by firm concrete filling as per the instructions by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing of road stud 100 x 100 mm die cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling holes 30 mm upto a depth of 600 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS:873 (Part 4) 1973.

Providing and making rumble strips 15-20mm high at centre, 250mm wide placed at 1m centre to centre over freshly laid bituminous layer by using close graded premix surfacing material type B at approved locations to control speed and marked with 100mm wide white strips of thermoplastic road marking paint. The close graded premix surfacing material type B shall conform to technical clause 512 and thermoplastic road marking paint shall conform to technical clause 803 of MORT&H specifications
