Laying of 11 kV 3Cx185 sqmm XLPE cable alongside the existing PILCA cable at Disco Market for converting the 11 kV Grid Feeder line to CPP feeder at Four Pole Structure.

Laying, Testing and Commissioning

Supply of IS-marked, heavy-duty, 150 mm nominal bore GI pipe, class C, for underground cable laying across railway crossings, road crossings, and other critical locations as per site requirements. The pipe should conform to IS:1239 (Part 1) and be zinc-coated for corrosion resistance.

Supplying and installation of outdoor cable end termination (UE) with heat shrinkable jointing kit complete with all accessories including lugs suitable for 185 sqmm size of 3 core, XLPE aluminum conductor cable of 11 kV Grade as required.

Horizontal piling/boring for laying a 150 mm diameter GI pipe at a minimum depth of 1.2 meters below ground level for Road crossing. Trenchless methods such as boring or jacking will be used to install the pipe without surface disturbances, ensuring compliance with railway safety norms. Proper alignment and gradient will be maintained for smooth cable passage.

Civil Works for Underground Road Crossing

Laying of 3Cx185 sqmm XLPE insulated power cable from pole to pole, passing through the 150 mm diameter GI pipe installed under the railway line. The cable will be carefully pulled through the pipe using suitable techniques to prevent damage to the insulation. Proper supports and clamps will be provided along the poles to ensure a secure installation. The pipe ends will be sealed with end bushes or other protective measures to prevent water ingress. Hydra will be provided by BVFCL.
