Repair/overhauling to EOT Cranes including complete greasing, oiling, cleaning of cranes and repair replacement of defective parts removal and deposited in MES store yard complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity of cranes. (Note for Srl No 1.01 to 1.02:- ( Note : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid for separately as supply only under respective items. (ii) Labour required for the replacement of unserviceable items shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item)

Material and Labour for disconnecting the electric motor from the cranes transporting to workshop, taking out old winding and rewinding the motor with same gauge of copper wire varnishing, overhauling complete re-fitting to crane connecting and testing of following motor.

Testing of EOT/HOT cranes with full load and 25% over load all as specified in IS No 301 of 1977 and 3177 of 1977 and writing the date of load testing all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for the following capacity of cranes . (Note for Srl No 3.01 to 3.02 :-Contractor shall be responsible for provision of load materials and after testing contractor shall give the certificate that crane is serviceable and ready to use for load)

M&L for jointing of broken copper Strip by using suitable copper binding/brazing arrangements and straightening complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for EOT/HOT cranes installed above the height of 5.0m from working level, thoroughly cleaned of all dirt, grease, scale and rust by shot blasting or chemical cleaning methods, removing old paint from EOT cranes and attachments parts such as double girders, motors, crane rail, Gearbox cabinet, LT panel board and all moving parts. A single coat of primer shall be applied to all parts exposed to the weathering effects and two coats of paint as approved by GE for indoor/outdoor cranes shall be applied on all primer painted surface. The bright exposed parts of the crane shall be given one coat of rust inhibitor. Interior of all gear boxes shall be painted with one coat of oil resisting paint. Writing the Technical details of respective crane as per existing data available on each crane with paint as approved by GE, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Disconnecting, opening of Controller of any description and any make for Repair/replacement of unserviceable/defective parts including cleaning & servicing, greasing, oiling of the parts etc and replacement of unserviceable parts with new one, reassembling the Controller after overhauling/ servicing and its testing.

Rewinding of single phase/ three phase AC 1 HP/ 2 HP copper wound electric motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing size as per manufactures, including allied insulating material, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Contract Amount shall be derived after deducting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 16 of tender documents.
