Description
Removing existing wall tiles/dado of all sizes, including hacking and removal of backing plaster, adhesive, mortar bed, and all loose material, without damaging the parent masonry/RCC surface. The work includes thorough cleaning and preparation of the substrate, making the surface sound and ready to receive new plaster and tile work, complete with collection, loading, transportation, and disposal of all dismantled debris (malba) outside the site premises. No dismantled material shall be considered serviceable. The contractor shall ensure complete clearance of the work area, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling and removing existing floor tiles of all sizes, including cement mortar bedding, adhesive layer, screed/sub-base, and all associated materials, without damaging the RCC slab. The work includes careful chipping, cleaning of the slab surface to remove all loose mortar and debris, making the surface ready to receive new flooring, complete with collection, loading, transportation, and disposal of all dismantled debris (malba) outside the site premises. No dismantled material shall be considered serviceable. The contractor shall ensure complete clearance of the work area, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling and removing existing door shutter, frame (steel/wood/aluminium as applicable), architraves, holdfasts, hardware, fittings, accessories, and all associated fixtures, including cutting of holdfasts and making good at junctions, without damaging the surrounding masonry, RCC, or finished surfaces. The work includes collection, loading, transportation, and disposal of all dismantled materials and debris (malba) outside the site premises to an approved dumping location. No dismantled material shall be considered serviceable unless specifically instructed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall leave the opening clean and ready for installation of the new door frame, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Dismantling of existing Plain Cement Concrete (PCC), grade slab and/or removal of existing sunken floor filling material, including breaking, excavation, collection and loading of all debris (malba). The contractor shall remove and dispose of the entire dismantled material/malba outside the project site to an approved municipal dumping yard, including all lead and lift, transportation, unloading, labour, tools, plants, equipment and statutory charges, complete in all respects. No dismantled material shall be retained or stacked within the project premises.
Providing and applying rough cement plaster (12–15 mm thick) on walls to receive ceramic/vitrified tiles, complete.
Providing and applying 15 mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) to the internal/external faces of plumbing shafts, including raking out joints, preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing, finishing the surface smooth, and all labour, materials, tools, leads and lifts complete, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Brickwork in 115 mm thick wall using first-class modular burnt clay bricks, laid in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding, cutting, chasing for services wherever required, and all labour, materials, tools, and incidentals complete as per drawings and the Engineer-in-Charge's instructions.
Providing and constructing external service shaft in 230 mm thick first-class fly ash/brunt clay brick masonry laid in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including RCC bands of size 230 mm × 230 mm at two levels on each floor—one at floor slab level and one at 1.8 m (6 ft) above finished floor level. RCC bands shall be reinforced with 4 Nos. 12 mm diameter TMT bars as main reinforcement and 8 mm diameter TMT stirrups at 150 mm c/c, complete with cutting, bending, binding, placing, centering, shuttering, and casting in M25 grade reinforced cement concrete. The work shall also include drilling and anchoring the RCC bands into the existing RCC columns/beams/slabs using Hilti RE 500 chemical anchor system or other approved equivalent, including reinforcement dowels, epoxy injection, curing, scaffolding, all labour, materials, tools, tackles, wastage, and all incidental works required for the complete execution of the shaft, in accordance with the structural drawings, specifications, and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing 18 mm thick approved quality polished granite cill on the top of the cistern ledge wall, of approved colour and shade, machine cut to the required size, fixed with 20 mm thick cement mortar (1:4) or approved tile adhesive over the prepared surface, including cutting, dressing, grinding, chamfering and polishing all exposed edges, making necessary cut-outs wherever required, filling joints with matching epoxy/grout, cleaning, and finishing complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying, testing and commissioning CPVC/UPVC water supply pipeline of approved make and suitable diameter, including all necessary fittings and accessories such as bends, elbows, tees, reducers, couplers/sockets, MTA (Male Threaded Adapter), FTA (Female Threaded Adapter), unions, end caps, clamps/supports, solvent cement/thread sealant, etc., complete from the service shaft to individual fixture points through wall chases. The item shall include cutting/chasing of walls, fixing the pipeline with proper alignment and gradient, pressure testing for leak-proof performance, refilling and making good the chases with cement mortar, providing GI chicken mesh (minimum 24 gauge, 25 mm × 25 mm) over the chases to prevent cracking, re-plastering, curing, and finishing the surface ready to receive final wall finishes, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing, laying, testing and commissioning 6 kg/cm² pressure-rated UPVC soil, waste and vent pipes of approved make and specified diameter, including all necessary fittings and accessories such as bends, elbows, tees, reducers, sockets/couplers, offsets, access pieces, door tees, cleanouts, cowls, vent terminals, clamps/supports, rubber ring joints/solvent cement, etc., complete in service shafts, floor slabs and concealed within wall chases as per approved drawings. The item shall include cutting/chasing of walls and floors wherever required, laying the pipeline to the required alignment and gradient, fixing with approved clamps/supports, testing for leak-proof performance, making good all chases with cement mortar, and finishing the surface ready to receive final finishes, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing glazed vitrified/ceramic wall tiles of approved make, size 300 mm × 600 mm (1'-0" × 2'-0"), on walls up to full height, laid with uniform 3 mm wide joints using tile spacers. Tiles shall be fixed with MYK LATICRETE 315 tile adhesive (or approved equivalent) in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Joints shall be filled with matching shade epoxy-based grout to achieve a waterproof and stain-resistant finish. The work shall include surface preparation, cutting, edge finishing, drilling for fixtures, making openings around pipe sleeves and fittings, providing necessary trims wherever required, cleaning of tile surfaces, and all materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding, wastage, and incidentals complete, to the satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and applying two or more coats of premium acrylic emulsion paint of approved shade and make over one coat of primer on prepared plastered surfaces of washroom walls and ceilings, including surface preparation, filling of minor imperfections with putty where required, rubbing, scaffolding, labour, materials, tools, and all incidental works complete, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
