REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF AIR FIELD LINK SIGN BOARD, MISC E/M, GRASS CUTTING AND ALLIED WORKS AT TECH AREA UNDER GE (AF) HASIMARA

Labour and T&P for cutting grass by mechanically operated slasher including removing of material upto a distance exc 250m & n.exc 500m, obtained from cutting & cleaning, (from the concrete edges) complete all as specified and directed. (Note : (i) Mechanical slasher (i.e.set of one tractor & Jungle Jim) with POL & MT driver shall be arranged by the Contractor and quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive all provisions. (ii) The mechanical slasher shall be operated from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs including lunch break of half an hour, excluding Sundays and holidays on requirement basis. (iii) Minimum output of one mechanical slasher shall not be less than 4000 sqm per day (grass cutting clear area). (iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by the Engg in Charge for operation of this item and shall be submitted to GE duly signed by contractor, JE and Engg in charge while processing payment of RAR).

(iii) Minimum output of one bush cutter shall not be less than 250 Sqm per day (Grass cutting clear area) . (iv) Attendance register shall be maintained by the Engg in Charge for operation of this item and shall be submitted to GE duly signed by contractor, JE and Engg in charge while processing payment of RAR).

Cutting/Scraping grass/wild growth and all vegetation etc manually around the runway light etc, stacking into heaps and removing off from the premises upto a distance exceeding 250m & n.exc 500m complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- The work shall be carried out on requirement basis during the contract period.)

Material and labour for preparation of old painted surface of concrate/flexible pavement like Runway, taxi track, link etc, by removing the greasy materials, dirt, dust etc and applying one coat of water based road marking paint grade-2 conforming to IS 164-1981, of tint white/yellow/golden yellow as approved, as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Paint shall be applied on prepared surfaces of concrete in a manner, so that thick paint shall stand boldly and solidly on the surfaces without showing brush mark on surfaces applied for. Surfaces shall be finished by application of paint till desired result obtained.)

All as per item No. 04 above but on center line and applying one coat of plastic emulsion paint (of white tint)complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm width or girth with one coat of water based road marking paint Grade-2, conforming to IS-164-1981 (tint white/yellow/golden yellow as approved) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted concrete, asbestos cement or plastered surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (of approved tint) on surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of old treated bituminous /asphaltic surfaces (over-run both ends of Runway) by removing all vegetation, sweeping with brooms and finally clean by fanning with gunny bags to remove all loose dust, dirt and applying one coat of white wash by spreading on prepared surfaces thoroughly to stand out boldly, solidly without showing signs of bruss mark on painted surfaces complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F Sign board rectangular in shape made out of 1mm thick MS plate of size 0.90Mx0.80m (approx) fixed to MS hollow pipe of size 45mmx45mm, 02 Nos, of length 1.50m above GL and 0.45m below GL embeded in and including PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 of size 0.45x0.45x0.60m and necessary earth work, excavation etc complete and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surface, writing letters/arrows etc of 6 inch height made out of fluorescent strip and fixing on each outer face of sheet with approved adhesive including dismanting of existing sign board of any size and description complete all as directed.

S&F in repair fluorescent strip for writing letter/arrows etc of size 6 inch height, fix to each outer face of sign board with approved adhessive complete all as directed.

Fabrication, Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of Guidance sign board of various size as per ICAO standards (Legend as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) made out of aluminium profile structure, panel shall be made of 2mm thick powder coated aluminium sheet, 4mm polycarbonate sheet with glare free face having minimum width 150mm and suitable no of supports at back by 50 mm dia (Nominal size) dia cast aluminium with Frangible coupling as per latest ICAO / FAA requirement at separation and base supports along with provision of suitable PCC foundation as required, Lift source shall be high lumen with 50000 hrs life, 0.5 watts LED's (Make : Osram / Cree / Nichia / Lumileds / Philips) assembled on aluminium PCB of size 700 mm x 20 mm and having 11 LED's per PCB for boards and control gear box PVC type for connection of cable. The thickness of aluminium PCB should be 2mm in order to ensure proper heat dissipation. These aluminium PCB's should be placed not more than 160 mm aprt across the length of the board in order to ensure uniform distribution of light across the board. Each board of length 800 mm to 1500 mm should be illuminated by single concerter single isolating transformer & above 1500 mm should be illuminated by double coverter and double isolating transformer fo suitable capacity. Board illumination shall be uniform (Constant) with the variable input current from 2.8 to 6.6 Amp. The letter and symbol should be screen printed on inside of sign face made of self adhesive film of 3M applied on the insdie face with required colouring. Suitable arrangement shall be made for water tight, dust proof and locking arrangement i/c all other accessories, secondary leads, suitable converter to constant current series system & converter shall able to operate on either any one ckt with two inputs from double series ckts, nut bolt cable connections etc as required. Installation includes the cement concrete of 1:2:4 grade foundation of size 400 x 400 x500 mm (For each leg) and total base of 150 mm thick which extended all around the board with a distance of 1500 mm (Front, back & both sides). The concrete base leg foundation shall be on the same level and 20-25 mm above the ground level.

Supply & Installation of 4mm polycarbonate sheet with glare free face having minimum width 150mm Guidance sign board of various size (Legend as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) complete including taking dwon old existing and fixing of printed polycarbonate sheet complete all as specified and directed.

Constructin of cable chamber of inner size 900 mm (L) x 900 mm (W) x 900 (D) which includes excavation and disposal of excavated in all kinds of soil earthh lead up to 50 m and providing & laying of 100 mm cement concrete of 1:4:8 grade at the bottom of the chamber and brick work with common burnt clay bricks at foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:3 with 12 mm cement plaster finished with neat cmenet of mix 1:3 chamber shall be provided drain pipe in the bottom and cover of chmaber size chequred plate of 8 mm thick with MS angle frame made of 50 x 50 x 5mm and shall be provided with lifting hooks and hinges including painting with approved colour as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing & testing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60cmX60cmX6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts and check nuts and washers etc. made of GI & connected to earthing test point and earth dolly all as shown in elect plate No 3 of SSR Pt I including all necessary earth work, excavation, PCC chamber, (1:2:4) B1 & RCC (1:2:4) B1 chamber cover with suitable reinforcement with handle including 15mm bore GI light grade protection pipe upto 7.5m length & 20mm bore GI medium grade watering pipe and wire mesh, funnel, char coal dust, common salt, wire mesh etc. all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and laying of 4 MM dia GI wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing along with the existing cable on surface / recessed / cable trench or in pipe etc complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation of pole / stay, or cable trenches and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge

Returning filling in incl spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and as directed by the engineer –in- charge.

Supply and laying 40mm dia, double walled corrugated(DWC) HDPE duct pipe for cable protection, conforming to IS, of approved colour with fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying 80mm dia, double walled corrugated(DWC) HDPE duct pipe for cable protection, conforming to IS, of approved colour with fittings complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour galvanized iron tubing 80 mm bore (light grade) with all fittings for protection of cables, laid in trenches all as specified and as directed by the Engineer –in-charge (Note : Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately ) (Make : TATA / JINDAL / PRAKASH)

Taking down/out unserviceable UG cables of any cross sectional area and connections including Bricks, GI Pipes, etc of any descriptions, laid in trenches and/or fixing with walls/poles complete all as specefied and as directed.

S&F Busbar Chamber suitable size for set of 04 aluminium busbar 400 Amps rating, supported with suitable size as per direction, each of heavy duty porceline stand, lock with suitable size of brass nut, bolts and washer with heat shrinkable PVC sleeving. The bus bar shall be colour coded (red, yellow and blue) for three phases and black for neutral, The Chamber shall be fixed 60cm above the normal ground level, complete with PCC foundation (1:2:4 ) type B2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

Materials and labour XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross- sectional area 16 sqmm 4 core.Note : Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under respective items (Make : GRANDLAY/ HAVELLS / NICCO / POLYCAB/ KEI)

Materials and labour XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross- sectional area 95 sqmm 3.5 core.Note : Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid separately under respective items (Make : GRANDLAY/ HAVELLS / NICCO / POLYCAB/ KEI)

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including DWC pipe of 80 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure.

M & L for cable route indicator made out of CI 15 cm dia disc shaped with embossed letter (LT Cable) Fixted to MS angle iron 40 x 40 x 5mm and 1 Mtr Long embeded in ground with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate of size 25 x 250 x 200 mm all as specified and directed. Note: An amount of Rs. 22945.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part - II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
