Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm and n exc 50 mm deep

M&L for 10 cm thick (complete thickness) WBM in two layers each 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse agg (Lime stone, sand stone, Flint or Quartzite) of grading 1 (90 to 40 mm Size) spread, rolled with power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber all as specified and directed

All as above but except materials

Preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, Sweeping with brooms and finaly fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and apply evenly primming/tack coat with paving bitumen at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm.

Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving Bitumen of VG-30 Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) In case of variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted @ Rs.42 per Kg.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) of 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with paving bitumen( By using Mechanical means using Paver, Mechanical Bitumen Sprayer , Tandom Vibratory roller etc). incl spreading stone dust over carpetting surface and rolled complete all as specified and directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. Apply evenly primming/tack coat with paving bitumen at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm.

Premixed sand seal coat using Paving bitumen with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal)

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions

M&L for applying 2.50mm thick retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint using thermoplastic road marking compound confirming to MOST, AASHTO M249 and BS 3262 with 30-40% pre mixed Type -1 glass beads confirming to BS 6088, on existing road surface after preparatioon of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. Make - STP Ltd-Shalimark Brand/Asian Paints-Apcomark/Kataline-Trademark-WR Brand

M & L Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunkensurfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm

M & L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with RS-I grade cationic emulsion @ 2.5 kg/Ten sqm using mechanical sprayer on black top surfaces and potholes complete all as specified and directed

NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details. 3. The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
