PROVN OF CERTAIN NEW IGLOO SHEDS (PH-III) AT 28 ED AT AFS AMLA

SOIL INVESTIGATION :- (a) Carrying out soil test & submitting detailed and complete report for the following test. (i) Liquid limit, plastic limit and shrinkage limit. (ii) Bulk density and moisture content. (iii) Triaxial shear test, (iv) Bearing capacity of soil and suggested foundation. (b) Making 150mm nominal dia bore hole at various locations of channels/buildings/structures in all types of soils including laterite using suitable approved method of boring including chiseling, cleaning providing casing pipe as directed of required, performing standard penetration test (finding K value as per IS2131 at every 1.5m intervals and at change of starta collection of water smaples and disturbed soil samples, observations such as ground water etc, collection of undisturbed soil sample at 3m interval and at change of strata, trasportation of all samples to laboratory, backfilling of bore holes on completion of same complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for depth below natural GL boring all types of soil from 0 to 10m all soil sample submission in core box. (c) Excavating Trial Pits at indicated of size 1.20m x 1.20m upto 3m depth 5.0m away from bore hole below existing filled level in all types of soils and collection of samples from various depth to conduct laboratory testrs and reporting with photographs. (d) RL of the ground level / foundation level with reference to a BM should invariably by mentioned in the soil investigation report. (e) Photographic record of geo-exploration as well as testing shall also form part of the report. (f) Recommendation as regards possibly of liquefaction of soil in case of saturated or partially loose / uncompacted sandy soils. (g) Swelling Index and Swelling Pressure in respect of Black Cotton soil and its depth / layer. (h) Depth of Ground Water Table (GWT) in peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest) after correlation of results with seasonal variations of water table in the station. (j) Recommeded for filling under floors. Remarks : (a) Qty - 4.00 (1 bore holes for each Igloo shed). (b) Unit - One Job (i.e. for four bore hole 10m depth)
