Replacement by providing 2x13 Passenger Lifts at Administrative Block in IIT Madras

Design, manufactures and replacement by supply,installation, testing,commissioning, approvals / laisoning (All local / state/ central statutory bodies) and handing over in satisfactory working conditions of elevators including the cost of providing 2 weeks satisfactory trial operation and testing at full design load and safely checks for sudden breaks, speed, etc. as directed and including the cost of providing free comprehensive maintenance service during Defect Liability Period of 12 months after final completion and satisfactory handing over to Development Manager, complete as per specifications as required and as below,the cost inclusive of buyback cost of existing OTIS make lift.

Elevator

13 Passenger (1088 Kg) Elevator PE -1 & PE-2 MR Gearless Type consisting of ACVVVF Panel, 1.5 MPS speed , 6 Nos. Stops, 17m travelling distance, car size of 1600 x 1300, 800 x 2000 door opening with Automatic with Centre opening ACVVVF Motor Door operator with door monitor / infrared sensor door detector , OEM owned touch/touchless screen COP and landing panel complete all respect as per specification. (Simplex operation of PE)

Necessary Civil related works such as fabricated additional channel to erect the giude rails in each floor, white washing the shaft, installation of BH fittings with wirings inside the shaft etc as required for installation of the lifts.

Buyback of Existing Elevator

Less buyback cost of existing 13 passenger MR OTIS make lift installed during 2004 serving 6 stops. The vendor may visit and access the value of lift and quote the rate accordingly. The cost of dismantling the lift is scope of the vendor. The dismantled materials will be disposed off from the campus from the next day of dismantling the lift.

Annual Maintenance Contract for 5 consecutive year after warrantee

Cost of complete comprehensive maintenance for 13 Passengers Elevator (PE-1 & PE-2) that includes routine , preventive & break down maintenance for period of five years including repair / replacement of worn out items of both proprietory and non proprietory items with minimum downtime and warranty & guarantee of repaired/ replaced items after completion. (The amount quoted for this item will not not be taken into account for deciding the lowest tender, but will be executed as a separate supplementary contract after the completion of the warrantee period).
