REPAIR REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ALLIED WORKS AT ZONE 1 B UNDER AGE E/M NO I OF GE (U) SECUNDERABAD

M&L attending repair/rectification of external water supply complaints of GI/CI/DI Pipe lines, sluice valves, gate valves of any type and size, no water supply and other water related complaints including transportation from complaint cell to complaint locations and back to complaint cell along with necessory T&P as required at site under Zone-I A & B areas and the following type of complaints all as specified and directed.

Repairs and checking any type of leakages in 15 mm bore GI/CI/DI/PP-R Pipe lines, sluice valves, gate valves of any type and size, no water supply and other water related complaints as directed.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for GI/PP-R pipe line of size 20 mm dia to 40 mm bore.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for GI/CI/ PP-R pipe line of size 50 mm dia to 80 mm bore.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for GI/CI/PP-R pipe line of size 90 mm dia to 150 mm bore.

All as per item No 1 here-in-before but for GI/CI/DI pipe line of size 200 mm dia to 300 mm bore. Notes for Sl item No 1 .01 to 1.05 (a) The contractor will be alloted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days including Sundays and holidays and sufficient tradesman / resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day comaplaints within 12 hours from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of genuine cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log book of complaints with completion/non-completion remarks from users/MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consulatation with JE E&M/Engr-in-Charge. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangment for emergency complaints and will notify authorised representive /Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/fittings utilized as per inventry format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabd and the same shall be submitted to E/M No I store yard on daily basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaint slip books, gate pass book, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work and repairs to damaged roads, LT UG/HT cables, existing structure etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate and no extra payment shall be allowed on this account. (j) Spares/GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve chamber of size 1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm (Internal dimenssions) with PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate 150 mm thick, 150 mm wide off sets allround over 100 mm thick hard core, brick masonry walls built in CM 1:6, 50 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 Type B1 coping finished even and smooth, rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar (1:6) finished even and smooth, with out using extra cement internally and 150mm below GL externally and top of floor including excavation, earth work in hard/dense soil, 5 mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm thick angle iron frame with hold fasts embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement, mild steel handle and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F ductile iron pressure pipes 200 mm bore class K7, centrifugally cast with spigot and socket ends conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes and outside zinc coating suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length confirming to IS 8329/2000 and all jointing materials and making good for disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for the route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/DI/MS pipe line of any size up to 150 mm bore for inserting branch connections etc complete including taking down old unserviceable CI pipes all as specified and directed.
