PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface (mastic asphalt) to be removed for a thickness of about 25 to 50mm, including transportation anywhere and bringing the existing ground surface to the proper grade, level, and camber as per the super elevation, rolling with a 10/12-ton power roller (If necessary as directed by EIC), and binding the scarified layer with stone dust, grit, sand, watering, brushing, rolling, etc., complete as specified and directed by the engineer in charge.

Supplying & spreading 60 mm metal compacting the same to 7.5 to 10 cm to the satisfaction of the Engineer by a roller weighing not less than 10 tonnes to the required grade, level & camber including binding with grit, sand stone dust, watering rolling etc. complete & making the layer water bound as per prevailing CPWD specifications for Roadworks. (VOLUMETRIC MEASUREMENTS TO BE RECORED BY LEVELS ONLY)

Waterproofing the slab of terraces, bathrooms, sanitary blocks, etc. with a layer not less than 1.5 mm thick of heated bitumen (20/30 penetration) applied in 2 or 3 coats after thoroughly brushing and cleaning of the slab by water jet machine, including painting the vertical portion of the side walls up to the level of the finished terrace or floor surface (of about 300mm), all as directed by the engineer-in-Charge. (Consumption of bitumen coating shall be maintained for about 1.5 kg/sqm.).

Providing and laying waterproof paper of 40 GSM transperant polythene over bitumen coat, including overlap (to be not less than 30 cm), the same has to extend over walls, and the same shall be embedded by means of CM 1:3 mix, etc. Including labor, materials, all tools, tackels, etc., as specified & as directed by the engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing in the driveway 80 mm thick lacquer-coated (reflective) interlocking white cement concrete pavers or cobbles as per pattern given by architect in red (Terra Cotta), black, brown, lemon yellow, or any color with vermeticular or any antiskid texture on top surface of approved pattern or shape (specifically square 150x150x80mm) and color having average crushing strength not less than 50 N/mm² as per technical specifications and IS CODE 15658:2006; manufactured in double layer precast concrete blocks of M/s. Super tiles, M/s. Basant Betons or equivalent. The top layer of paver block should be 12 to 15 mm thick and consist of cubical-shaped stone aggregate (8 mm) size sieve, 100% passing and retained on a 4.75 mm sieve, silica sand, and pure iron oxide ultra-viscose stabilized pigment at 5% by weight of white cement. It should also be coated with lacquer that has hard, high-abrasive resistance and is water repellent. The bottom layer of grey cement should be 65 to 68 mm thick, with a 12 mm sieve and 100% passing aggregates as per technical specifications, placed on an average mortar-rich mix with a full depth of paver or cobbles over the PCC of grade M15 concrete (having a thickness of about 50mm) uniformly with a proper capacity mechanical compactor with the required level, grade, camber, etc., complete as specified and as directed by the engineer in charge. (Note: Paver blocks shall be thoroughly inspected before dispatch at the site, and quality and strength tests shall be done at the certified lab based on IS code provisions and manufacturer specifications. The cost of testing shall be borne by the agency for each lot of materials, with no extra cost to the department. If it is found that the materials fail to meet the standards of testing, the same materials shall be completely rejected by the department.)

Providing and fixing of Water Dished Channel (Grey Colour) size: 600 x 300 x 80mm, M-40 grade make of M/s. Supertiles M/s. Basant Betons or equivalent, manufactured in vacuum wet press technology plant with excellent finish and sharp edges inclusive of excavation in any soil except rock, laying of leveling course of M-15 grade RMC 100 mm thick to required slope (inclusive of form work) jointing in 1:2 C:M with matching tint in prop. flush to concrete surfaces as directed (Water tables shall be procured from DCSEM registered agencies) complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing cement concrete kerb stone made of M/s. Super tile, M/s. Basant Betons or equivalent of various grades of size: 600mm width x 450mm height x 165/125mm thick with a full body of black color (Half Batter, Bull Nose, or Full Batter) manufactured in a wet press vacuum dewatering technology plant or equivalent with a face pimple finish for high visibility, excellent quality and finish, and edges that are perfect and sharp. Grade: M-25, including excavation in any soil except rock, laying a leveling course of M 15 grade RMC 100mm thick to the required slope (inclusive of form work), jointing in a C.M. 1:2 proportion flush to the concrete surface, and painting the exposed surface with one coat of primer and two coats of 1st grade road marking paint in the yellow, white, black, or any shade as directed. (Kerbstones shall be procured from DCSEM-registered agencies.) all as directed by Engineer-In-charge.

Brick work in ready mix mortar of M/s. Roofit, M/s. Ultratech or equivalent of 1:4 using well burnt locally available bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, raking out joints above ground level, simultaneous pointing below ground level, curing, etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) or manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, dewatering with pump, shoring, strutting, etc., with all lifts up to 1.5 m and lead up to 500m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within the anushaktinagar, complete all as directed by the engineer-in-charge.

Providing & laying dry stone Rubble Soling with average 230 mm size hard stone set-in regular lines, hand packed and interstices thoroughly filled with small chips including filling in with good quality murum brought from outside, compacting with iron rammers, watering, sand spreading 12mm thk. layer of grit on top etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge. (Note: The rate includes the royalty and other taxes if any)

Providing & laying in position ready mix or site batched nominal mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate derived from natural sources, portland pozzolana/ ordinary portland/ portland slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, to improve durability & workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage of all leads; but excluding the cost of shuttering all as directed by engineer in charge. (Note : Site batch mix or ready mix concrete decision shall be taken by EIC ).

M-15 Grade (upto & above plinth level)

Providing and laying in position ready mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying and the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and excluding reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The Mix design as per the specifications shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge before execution of the item. The rate shall include cost of all specified materials and operations at all levels and heights, including the cost of centering, shuttering and excluding reinforcement which shall be paid under relevant item.(Note :- Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 kg/cum as per IS 456 table showing minimum cement content. No extra will be paid nor any amount will recovered on account of variation of cement in mix design as per specifications for controlled concrete).

Providing and fixing in position steel bars reinforcement of various diameters for R.C.C. pile, pile caps, footings, raft, retaining wall, shear wall, lift wall, foundations, slabs, beams, columns, canopies, staircases, newels, chajjas, lintels, pardies, coping, fins, arches, etc. as per detailed designs, drawings and bar bending schedules including straightening, cutting, bending, hooking the bars, binding with wires or tack welding, supporting as required etc. all complete at all levels. Note : Cost of binding wires shall be borne by the agency & it will not be measured for payment.

Thermo-Mechanically Treated steel bars. (Fe 500 D)

Providing, detailing, fabricating and fixing at desired location using hot Rolled sections, MS Flats/ round bars/ square bar/ angles, MS Plates etc of grade Fe 250 as per specifications and approved fabrication drawings (which are to be prepared by Contractor and got approved from Engineer), transporting to site and erecting/ making structural steel members for all heights & at all levels including provision of necessary erection bolts, fixing bolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, base plate, and all necessary fixtures and operations like preheating as per specifications, straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding and removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting with wire brush cleaning and applying two coats of epoxy red oxide zinc phosphate primer of 30 microns each and two coats of Epoxy Corrosion Resistant Enamel paint of 30 microns after fabrication including touching up with spray painting after erection etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Cement plastering 15mm thick using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix mortar in CM 1:4 of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external/ internal plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied on internal wall and ceiling finished smooth with pop over brick walls or concrete surfaces at all floors and levels, including curing/ watering for each course for the period of 7 days etc. and it also includes complete removal of existing damaged/ worn out/ loose plastering and disposing off outside V S Bhavan premises within Anushakti Nagar at location identified by EIC etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by EIC.

Demolishing brick /stone masonry in cement mortar and plaster at all floors & levels including scaffolding, stacking of serviceable materials & disposing of unserviceable materials out side V S Bhavan at location identified by EIC within Anushaktinagar complete all as per specification & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

b) PCC & RCC Concrete

Removing all unwanted debris of all construction materials waste, wooden/ply pieces, tree branches, twigs, dried leaves, loose soils, wastages, etc., and cleaning the site/ground completely, etc., all include labor, tools, mechanical transportation, disposing of the waste to the dumping yard in the old Mandala/Ellora corner or at the directed place shown by EIC, etc., complete all as directed by the engineer in charge. Note: i) Payment shall be made after deducting 20% for voids from truck or stack measurements. ii) Item shall be use for umclaimed debris only

Providing and fixing precoated with high durable polyester paint G.I CRCA 0.5 mm (min) thick steel sheets manufactured by M/s. Essar/ Jindal steel sheets make in SR-25 module of Stucco fixing over RCC/ existing MS/ strcutural steel framework roof on M S /.G.Iframe at all floor and locations, including necessary ridges and gable ends including bending in required angle , valley and over lapping shall be 200 mm, fixing the sheet with self tapping SS Screws fixed with machine with bituminous washers/ GI bolt of 8 mm dia. The base metal shall be CRCA Steel having minimum yield strength of 240 MPa and minimum UTS of 280 MPa, Galvanized to 120 gsm zinc coating mass (total both sides) as per I S: 277 or conforming to AS: 3566 Class 3 of rust shield/ corroshield make including grouting over RCC slab/ columns/ Cast- in- situ PCC blocks in line level and level, at all levels including necessary scaffolding etc. complete all as per approved drawing and as directed by Engineer- in- Charge. Mode of measurement: Top plan width X Length of sheet after fixing shall be measured for payment. Corrugation, overlaps shall not be measured. SPECIFICATION: The steel sheets conforming to M/s. Essar/ Jindal steel make in SR 25 Module, shall have pretreatment by Dip/electro process, using pre-activation, zinc phosphate dip and final chrome rinse (trivalent chrome) on both surfaces, each of average DFT 5 microns, followed by a finish coat of specially formulated polyester paint in METASHIELD TM EPG TM of average DFT 20 microns, on the exposed surface and same specially formulated in METASHIELD ® appoved shade to and average DFT 5 micron. The total coated thickness of metal, inclusive of galvanization, chemical treatment, primer and finished coats shall not be less than 0.50 mm. Note: 1) Test of materials shall be carried out on sheets, as per relevant I.S codes before acceptance and bulk supply. 2) Contractor shall arrange predispatch inspection of material before bulk procurement at factory. 3) All tests of material shall be done to every 3500 m2 . Material lot shall be rejected it tests results fail. 4) The sheet shall be fixed in a best workman like manner in line and level.

Providing, detailing, composite fabricating members like Trusses, N-girders, girders, bracings, supports, purlins, runners, and similar structural steel members fabricated using M.S. hollow tubular steel sections (circular & rectangular pipes), of TATA Structural Make or equivalent conforming to IS 1239 part 1 and 2 and of grade Fe 250 as per specifications and approved fabrication drawings (which are to be prepared by Contractor and got approved from Engineer), including transportation of the same to site, erection of structural steel members for all heights & at all levels, provision of necessary erection bolts, fixing bolts, nuts, washers, cleats, stiffeners, gussets, base plate, and all necessary operations like preheating as per specifications, straightening, bending, cutting, drilling, grinding, machining if specified, welding, grinding, removing the welding burr and preparing surface for painting with wire brush cleaning and applying two coats of epoxy red oxide zinc phosphate primer of 30 microns each and two coats of Epoxy Corrosion Resistant Enamel paint of 30 microns after fabrication including touching up with spray painting after erection etc complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Random rubble masonry with hard stone in superstructure above plinth level and upto floor five level, including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) at window sills, ceiling level and the like including racking out joints, 7 days curing etc complete all as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Providing and fixing at all floors and levels machine cut machine polished natural granite stones as mentined below for Door windows framing in sandwitch form, flooring, dado, skirting, cladding etc and including necessary cement mortar for backing with araldite coating/ bedding, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, slope, level, plumb, curing, cleaning of stone slabs, wastage, making cut outs wherever required, as per drawing & pattern including removing old floor, dado stacking serviceable materials and disposal of debris outside colony etc complete all as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in charge. Note :Exposed surface on Elevation & exposed vertical finished face shall be measured for payment in sqm. Overlapping & edges etc shall not be measured.

(a) 18mm thick Green Marble

(b) 18 mm thick granite stone of steel grey, Lavender blue, brown or any other shade given by an architect for steps dado, skirting/cladding with stone slabs of various size in pattern including 12 mm thick 1:3 cement mortar bedding and applying Araldalite to the back of the Granite stone for fixing etc., complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying synthetic plaster of 3mm thick (min.) of approved shade, texture of Renovo, Ruf-B-Tuf, Heritage, or any approved equivalent in 3 coats (one coat of synthetic plaster and two overcoats of exterior waterproof paint, (including the base coat) of M/s. Asian, M/s. Dulux of Apex Ultima or wheathershield Powerflexx over the synthetic plaster at all heights and locations, including metal steel tubular double scaffolding, as per all relevant IS codes as applicable. The synthetic plaster shall be thoroughly mixed and evenly applied over the wall at an interval of 6–8 hours for each successive coat and ensure consumption as per manufacturer specification (both for synthetic plaster and exterior paint), including preparation of the surface by jet washing, etc., cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with MCON crack filler or Latex caulking crack filler, etc., generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the engineer-in-charge. (Note: All material shall be consumed as per manufacturer specification; any extra for filling or depression will not be considered. If material consumed is found to be less than the manufacturer specification, the same shall be recovered on a per-unit basis.)

Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts, bolts including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: The contractor must take full precautions that original brick work is not damaged while dismantling of plaster. Incase of any damage the same shall be made good with 22g chickenwire mesh at his own cost . No separate payment for any additional thickness of plaster if any will be made. Contractor must visit site and acquint himself with the condition of building.

Providing and applying one coat of base coat (Apex Ultima protect of M/s. Asian paints OR Aquatech of M/s ICI Dulux ) or equivalent and two top coats of acrylic water proof exterior coating paint of Apex Ultima Protek of M/s. Asian Paints / Weathershield flexxrainproof system of M/s. ICI Dulux or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face/ form finished surfaces / rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats and ensure strict consumption as per manufacturer specification at all location & heights including steel tubular heavy double scaffolding by complying all it's relevant IS codes, surface preparation like jet washing to remove all dirt, all loose paint film etc., cutting/ cleaning and filling the hairline cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete all as per the manufacturer's specification/ recommendations and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

a) Over sand faced plastered / Form finished surfaces

Providing and applying artistic or mural paint over a sand-faced wall at any height or location by an expert painter as per the drawings and design given by an architect, including all surface preparation, base application, scaling, finishing, etc., including all tools, tackles, paint materials, and scaffolding (steel tubulat). all as per the given order. 1.The wall surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned of all dirt, old paint, or any foreign materials by means of jet washing, etc. 2.The wall surface needs to be smoothed by filling up any depressions, cracks, etc. to make it smooth and in plumb. 3.After surface preparation, the wall needs to be covered with the base paint as per the design and allowed to dry for some time. After that, scale the design as per the perspective given by an architect so that a projection of the design can be drawn without any ambiguity. 4.Draw the artistic or mural paint in dual coat as per the design given by the architect with acrylic emulsion paint made of M/s. Asian, M/s. Dulux. Complete all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing of a vertical garden with a UV-coated artificial vertical mat with bunches of green leaves to be fixed in the (100 x 100 cm) bays made of M/s. Elen India, M/s. Urban Cart, M/s. Chhajed Garden, M/s. Ankur Nursery, etc. to be fitted over the wall by supporting an aluminum framework of 600 x 600 mm or 500 x 500mm grid of a suitable size, making it steady by fixing it into a rubble masonry or sand-faced wall with SS screws/ fastners etc. at a minimum distance from the wall surface in line and level. The 100x100cm bays or mats shall be fixed in such a way that they shall not be detached from their place. The whole work shall include labor, materials, steel scaffolding, all tools, tackles, transportation, etc., as directed by the engineer-in-charge. (Aluminium item shall be paid under relevant item)

Injecting approved low viscous epoxy grout into concrete slab, stone masonry cracks, columns etc. by mechanical operated pump at required pressures of 3-4 kg/Sqcm by providing necessary scaffolding, drilling and inserting 12mm dia. Brass grouting multiperforated nipples up to 30mm to 60mm depth, using M Seal, Quartz sand around the nipple, cutting of nipples after curing, cleaning etc. complete. (This item shall be paid on actual consumption of epoxy used in Kgs.)

Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: 1. Breaking cracked / spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,simultaneous transportation and disposed at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge. 2. Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone /rust remover of Dr. Fixit / Anuvi chemicals / Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3. Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4. Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved Manufacturers Like M/s Astra , M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky white Ph- value : 9-10 Specific gravity : 1.055+/-0.005 Solid contents(%w/w)-: 44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 degree C temperature (in sec): 15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party Lab. is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply. 5. Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./layer/sq.m. 6. Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10

a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Polymer used for this work in KG shall be measured for payment.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position at all floors factory made Aluminium sliding/top hung/fixed/ adjustable louvered windows, ventilators, boards with SS or sheet metal rivets/ screws joint of specified size, made of integrated bronze/ architect approved anodised finished (15micron thick) domal aluminium section (extruded) , of approved manufacutres for following types with extruded sections ofJindal / Indal / Aluminax or other approved equivalent make of approved sections with size and weights as directed for frames and shutters (including wastages if any) confirming to relevant IS specifications with all approved Bronze anodised aluminium fittings and accessories, latching fixture, 2/3 rollers with ball bearing of superior quality all as shown in the drawing including providing and fixing aluminium channel beading/ glazing clips fixed with necessary Stainless Steel/ Sheet metal/ Bronze anodised screws, grouting the gap with sealant and including dismantling of existing window frameand shutter, glass and depositing serviceable material to dept store and disposal of debris out side V S Bhavan at location identified by EIC etc all complete generally as per specifications etc, all as directed by Engineer in charge.
