Earth work in excavation in any kind of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not execcding 1.5m in width or 10 Sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m complete all as specified and directed.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rocks) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidated each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:3:6 (using natural sand of grading zone-III and stone aggregate 40mm graded) in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate ) as in retaining walls,wall(any thickness) including attached pillasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, window sills, fillets, sunken floors etc upto floor five level, excluding the cost of centering and shuttering specified grade complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste for Centering and shutteing including struting, propping etc, and removal of form for foundation, footing, bases of columns, etc for mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste for Centering and shutteing including struting, propping etc, and removal of form for lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste for Centering and shutteing includig struting, propping etc, and removal of form for columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts, complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste for Centering and shutteing including struting, propping etc, and removal of form for small lintels not exceeding 1.5 m clear span, moulding as in cornices, window cells, string courses, bands, coping, bed plates, anchor blocks and the like complete all as specified and directed. M&L for 12mm cement plaster in fine sand of mix 1:4 on external faces of walls finish the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm cement plaster in fine sand of mix 1:4 on the rough side of single or half bick wall finish the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

Finishing the walls with water proofing cement paint if required shade on newly plasered surface of walls(Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 Kg/10 Sqm) complete all as specified and directed.

Coal tarring two coats on new work using 0.16 Litre and 0.12 Litre coal tar per Sqn in the first coat and second coat respectively complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for ready mix red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/steel work and Painting new steel surfaces with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give the even shade including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for angle iron post & struts of required size including bottom to be split and bent at right angle in opposite direction for 10 cm length and drilling holes upto 10mm dia etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for mild steel grills/grating complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing concetina coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 600 mm dia 10 meter openable length (total length90m), having 50 Nos rounds per 6m length, upto 3 metre height of wall with existing angle iron 'Y' shaped placed 2.4m or 3.0m apart and with 9 horizontal R.B.T. reinforced barbed wire, stud tied with G.I. staples and G.I. clips to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts or G.I. barbed wire tied to angle iron, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, with reinforces barbed tape(R.B.T.)/Spring core(2.5mm thick) wire of high tensile strength of 165 Kg/sq.mm with tape (0.52 mm thick) and weight 43.478 gm/metre (cost of M.S angle, CC blocks shall be paid saperately) complete all as specified and directed.

Broken Glass coping on top of walls set in 25 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down Chowkats/frames with shutter without taking off shutters from frames n.exc. 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Items No 24 to 38 : The contractor shall fabricate temporary pickets using Angle Iron frame and GI sheets of not less than 3.00m height around the building and shall be fabricated at enough space from the building for smooth manouvering of the workers. The decision of Engr-in-Charge shall deemed to final and binding and the cost shall deemed to be included in quoted rates.

The contractor shall demolish RCC in complete and take out the reinforcement for its measurement and shall be stacked at a place as directed by Engineer-in-charge. If the contractor fails to do so, the reinforcement shall be considered @ 100.00 kg/Cum in schedule of credit.
