Part-I (LIFT WORKS) (Note:- Lift works and its related works are to be executed through MOU as per clause mentioned in Schedule 'A' notes)
NOTE :- Lift OEM to submit detailed specification/design parameters, construction drg of all components of lifts as per IS-14665 and as per latest ammendement for approval of GE before execution of work. Engr-in-Charge shall ensure that detail drg shall be forwarded to GE for approval with recommendation within one month of issue of W.O (a) Type of Lifts: Passenger (b) No. of Passengers & Load capacity: 10 Nos. & 680 Kgs (c) Speed: 1.5 mtr/sec with single speed motor (d) Power Supply : 415 volts, 3 phase AC, 50 Hz (e) Type of Drive: Regenerated AC variable voltage & variable frequency drive alongwith converter unit. The regenerated power shall be used to charge the battery of UPS & ARD & Emergency light. (f) Type of Machine: Gearless permanent magnet & directly coupled Horizontal traction machine
(g) Car size (Inside): Not less than 1.61 sqm. (h) Car and landing door at all floors : Automatic centre opening with VVVF door drive opening size not less than 800x2000 mm and sliding type fabricated by stainless steel sheet not less than 16 gauge having hair line finish (N-304) the car and landing doors shall be fire resistance rating of 01 hrs. (j) Car enclosure: manufactured with stainless steel frame not less than 16 gauge with Hair line finish (N-304) having stainless steel false ceiling with hair line finish, Internal lighting arrangement with PIR sensor automatic operation LED light fittings on automatically in human presence with in 05 mtr range complete internal ventilation system provided with concealed arial flow/cross flow fan with auto cut off system and stainless steel grill wire mesh for protection as per OEM design. (k) Terminal buffers: Metal special spring buffers as per manufacturer specifications.
(l) Door opening (Inside): protected by centre opening stainless steel doors with hairline finish doors with clear opening of size not less than 800x2000 mm. (m) Counter weight shall be of cast iron as recommended by OEM as per IS (n) Car counter weight guide : guide rails of ‘T’ section mild steel as per OEM design as per IS (o) Flooring: Aluminum chequred plate 5mm thick complete (p) Signals :- (i) Combined luminous hall buttons with LCD/VFD hall position indicators at all floors. (ii) Vacuum Filled Display (LCD/VFD ) for car position indicator of stainless steel (iii) One Number car operating panel with luminous braille buttons with coloured LCD display and touchless buttons (proximity sensor) in car (stainless steel) (iv) Car direction indicator in car & Landing. (v) Battery operated alarm bell & emergency light (rechargeable) along with suitable maintenance free battery. (This system shall be separate from ARD batteries).
(vi) Overload warning feature in car cabin.(Display and announcing type both) (vii) Fireman’s switch one No per lift to be installed at Ground Floor near landing door. (viii) All signal fixture & car operating panel on hair line stainless steel face plate with hair line finish. (ix) Infra red door sensor safety edge of door for entire height. (x) Built in announcing system with hand set(03 Nos, one each in car & near Ground floor landing door and one in machine room). (xi) The interior of the car shall be provided with a device that audibly announce the floor position of lift car has reached and announce that car entrance/exit door is open or closed.
(t) Machine room: Located above the hoist way . (u) Hoist way Constn; existing RCC structure with brick wall construction as existing at site. Total height from G/L to slab of Machine room can be seen at site. (v) Control system shall be closed loop type. (w) Door shall have ACVVVF controlled door operator. (x) Faceplate shape shall be Rectangular and of stainless steel in hairline finish. (y) Civil work : Necessary civil work such as scaffolding in elevator shaft, cutting, making holes, grouting/welding barricading for all openings of elevators to avoid accidents & disturbances during pre and post erection of lift and makding good disturbed surfaces, modifications to landing space to suit to car size, necessary foundation to machine, plastering of lift shaft wall etc and two coats of white wash shall be applied on the lift shaft after completion of lift installation and all as per OEM recommendation/suggesting during execution of work
(aa) Provn of travelling cable with copper conductor FRLS of suitable size & core or required wiring to intercom speaking,connect to complete cell and provn of through & other accessories.
(ab) Provn of governor and governor rope of suitable size ,buffer springs as per manufacture's design,car cabin having powered doors and inspection box at top of the car cabin.
(ac)Provn of safety guarding equipments such as 02 Nos Pit switches controller guarding pit pulley,guarding pit ladders,facia plate to cover free space between car cabin and hoist way & switches.
(ad) Door sensor 81 beam,2D infra red full length .
(ae) provn of “Press and speak” system to be connected with lift existing Intercom Exchange compatible with exchange.
(af)Do's & Don'ts chart on stainless steel to be installed inside the car cabin.
(ag) Evacuation process chart to be installed inside the car cabin. Incase when lift stuck in midway shaft. The letters/Numbers in chart should be luminous radium coloured to see in all day/night time.
Note : The contractor shall have to submit MOU from OEM of Lift within 07 days of date of commencement of work , failing which the contract will be liable to be cancelled and work shall be executed as per policy in vogue of the contractor default.

Material & Labour for earthing with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to the galvanized earth lead by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel using GI or steel strip 32X6mm dia as earthing lead as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil, earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 40mm graded stone aggregate pit, funnel, 20mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, 40mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe and pre-cast earth pit cover 80mm thick made of RCC (1:1:5:3) type A1 duly reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 100mm c/c both ways, one lifting handle made out of 10mm dia TMT bar 250mm long embedded in cover slab and cover, wire, copper lugs, etc, mest, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm thick including taking down old unserviceable earth plate complete all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (Each protection pipe and earth lead upto and including 7.50m length is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate of this item.)
Supply, laying and testing of cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 16.0 sq mm 4 core including of necessary clamps/saddles etc for fixing on surface of wall/floor/shaft taking down of old complete all as specified and as directed,
Supply & fix in replacement of GI strip 32 x 6 mm including of necessary clamps/saddles etc for fixing on wall/floor/shaft complete from machine room equipment to earth pit including taking down of old complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installing, testing and commissioning in replacement of factory made and tested Indoor type Phase Sequence Corrector of capacity 25 HP , 3 Phase 4 Wire, 415 volts, 50 Hz, wall mounted. The Phase Sequence Corrector shall be dust and vermin proof, protection class (IP-54) and made of 2.00 mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet, front opening type with proper ferrule & cable gland, internal wiring with PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor FRLS cable of adequate size but not less than 1.5 sqmm complete. All steel metal works including frame shall be with anticorrosive coating with seven tank process and finally epoxy polyester powder coating of Siemens grey shade 7035 including taking down of old complete all as specified and as directed.
Taking down carefully existing surface/ concealed unserviceable aluminum/ copper point wiring (light, fan, socket, power or sunken box) complete including fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fittings, etc. and making good to disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, ceilings, etc. where required and finished the existing surfaces after complete of new point wiring as specified here-in-after complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of MCB SPN 8 way, double door, 240 volts Metalic Distributition board, concealed flush to wall for mounting MCBs factory made , conforming to IS : 13032 fabricated out of CRCA sheet not less than 1.20mm thick fitted with DIN channel, neutral link and 200 Amps rated bus bar DBs shall be semi glossy finished with epoxy polyster based powder paint sprayed and backed at high temperature , between powder paint process to ensure smooth finish and protection against corrsion atmosphere. the DBs shall be double door type with hinged door with locking arrangement. Comprehensive maintenance of lift installed at cariappa vihar in reliable safe and efficient operating condition through MOU with OEM by regularly examining, lubricating and adjusting the equipments and carry out planned maintenance in systematic and controlled manner suitable for serving Ground + 6 floors (total seven landings) with electric power operated doors, auto electric levelling device installed complete all type of mechanical and electrical items, governor sleeve, gears, gear shaft assembly, bearings, brake contact, brake shoe liner, brake magnets, governor jaws, sheave or main rope, trailing cable, speed governor rope, all type of electric motors, car & hall mechanical buttons, car & hall position indicators, car direction indicators and all other car and landing signal / fixtures, deflectors, car and counter weight guide rails and buffers, wire, lugs, nut, bolts, screws, hand rails, light luminaries, ventilating fan, hooter, lubricant, gear oil, aircord, rollers, landing wheel, aircord wheel, rubber bush, rail guide shoe, infra red door sensors, automatic door operating system, travelling cables, ARD, SMF batteries, car doors, landing gates, door sills, intercom system, CVT, all types of control panel PCBs, transducers, transformers, rectifires, phase sequence corrector & single phase preventer, relays & cards etc and all machine works i.e. welding, cutting, drilling etc as and when required incl sunday and holidays, during 1st year after completion of defect liability period, complete all as directed to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge-
Comprehensive, preventive, periodical maintenance after completion of defects liability period and attending day to day complaints for smooth functioning of lifts/elevators (10 Nos) installed at Blocks mentioned here-in-under:- (a) B.No. 14 to 18 of Cariapa Vihar 10 passenger lift - (05 Nos Lifts). (b) B.No. 14 to 18 of Cariapa Vihar 1000 Goods lift - (05 Nos Lifts). Note :- (i) Comprehensive maintenance will start only after completion of 02 years of defect liability period, complete all as directed to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Any maintenance/replacement of any items during 02 years of defect liability period will be borne by the contractor.
All as per Item No 1 above but during 2nd year after completion of defect liability period of two years, complete all as directed to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge
All as per Item No 1 above but during 3rd year after completion of defect liability period of two years, complete all as directed to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
Note for item No 1 : - (i) The entire work relating to comprehensive, preventive and periodical maintenance of lifts/elvators (including supply of spares) as mentioned above, shall be got executed through the manufacturer from whom the new lifts/elevators are procured. (ii). The cost of all kind of replaced defective part(s) / spare(s) / control card(s) / oil / lubricants etc or any other component(s) / item(s) whether mentioned or not mentioned here-in-before, as and when required to make the lift/elevator fully functional, is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account. (iii). The comprehensive / preventive / periodical maintenance includes monthly, inspection/testing as per service manual or as per IS standard. The inspection / test report will be submitted to Engineer-in-charge. (iv). The complete records of replaced spare parts will be maintained and will be produced to Engineer-in-charge on monthly basis or as and when asked to produce the same. (v) The tenderer has to submit Intent of MOU from existing OEM of whom the new lifts/elevators are procuredonly.
(vi) The contractor will have to submit MOU existing OEM within 07 days of date of commencement of work , failing which the contract will be liable to be cancelled and work shall be executed at risk & cost of the contractor.
(vii) Contractor will conclude AMC for contract with OEM and copy of the agreement and along with invoice copy will be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge and GE before commencement of AMC. No payment will be made to contractor without submission of valid AMC agreement. (viii) The above maintenance include complete maintenance of existing lift by regularly and systematically examining adjusting fabricating as required for smooth and efficient functioning of the equipment/lift.
(ix) The OEM will also detail one technical staff to inspect the lift every week. regarding its functioning operation or any other issue arising in the lift.The problem noticed if any to be addresed immediately.In case no technician is detailed Rs 500/- / week per lift will be deducted from the payment.Technician should always carry service tool along with himself during each weekly visit. (x) Sufficient stores should be kept in stock with OEM to address the problem/complaints immediately. (xi) Contractor to note that monthly service will not be paid for the building undergoing special repairs/ unoccupied buildings and no penalty shall be imposed upon contractor, or all as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. (xii) All existing earthing of the lifts shall be watering of all existing earthing of the lifts and cheacking for functional shall be done by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge.
