REPAIR MAINT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, PUMP SETS AND ALLIED WORKS CLEANING OF UG SUMPS SERVICEABLE TANKS AND CONNECTED WORKS AT NTS MARCOS AREA AND NAD, DAD AREA AND REPAIR AND MAINT OF DG SETS, ACBS AND APFC PANEL AND CONNECTE

M&L for detecting and repairing leakage in CI/DI pipe lines of size 150mm / 100mm / 80mm bore, taking up unserviceable /serviceable CI/DI water main with spigot and socket ends (including fittings) of any type/grade and joints from trenches and laying new CI/DI pipe lines of size 150mm / 100mm / 80mm bore in trenches or placing on existing pillars / supports as directed and specified to including the following:-

Execution and earth work in soil / mud by using machinery / labour to suitable length (Appx 10 mtrs) and forming bund with excavated soil to avoid sea / raw water entering into the working area including pumping / bailing out water by using portable disel engine driven pump set.

Cutting of CI / DI pipe of size 150mm / 100mm / 80mm bore after through inspection for the damaged pipe line including disconnecting / dismantling.

Taking out CI/DI pipe with CI/DI specials after removing from joints/burning out joints and removing lead at both ends with the help of hydraulic crane / other machinery and keeping aside for further disposal.

Cutting of new pipe into pieces as per requirement and laying using machinery.

Alinging the pipe line as per site condition, in setting the CI Collar suitable for 150mm / 100mm / 80mm CI/DI pipe.

Attending repair work within the minimum time frame/period as specified by Engr-in-charge.

Notes for Items No 01 above :- (a) The unit rate is deemed to include cost of tools and plants and transprtation required for attending the repair work. (b) Supply only CI/DI pipe shall be measured & paid for seperately under relevant item of this schedule. (c) Extra soil required for refilling / making bunds to prevent water entering into the work place shall be deemed to include in the unit rate. (d) Specials / rubber or fiber/ lead joints shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent items of this schedule. (e) Old unsv CI/DI pipes, fittings, lead, nuts, bolts, washer, gaskets etc. shall become contractors property and necessary recovery as per schedule of credit shall be deducted from contractor.

M&L for attending of water supply complaints for any leakage/blockage in GI pipe lines of size 20mm/25mm bore taking up serviceable / unserviceable GI water pipe lines with all fitings/fixtures from trench including supply and laying GI tubing 20mm/25mm bore up to 1 mtr length (max) including necessary cutting, treading and replacement of unserviceablel GI fittings such as GI socket /Nipple/union socket, Tee, Tee reducer etc. of size 20mm/25mm including necessary exevation and earth work upto 1 mtr length to repair the leakage/clearing the blockage in the pipe line and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No. 2 to 7:- (a) The break down complaint shall be attended within 2 hours after the intimation of Engr-in-charge or concern JE E/M by telephonically / verbally / by writing. (b) Not attending of complaint within two hours after intimation shall lead to recovery from subsequent payment in the following manner :- (i) Attending within 2 to 4 Hours - Rs. 2000.00. (ii) Attending within 4 to 6 Hours- Rs. 4000.00 (iii) Attending within 6 to 8 Hours- Rs. 8000.00. (iv) Attending after 8 Hours - Rs. 10,000.00 (v) The maximum recovery will be Rs. 50,000.00 plus the expenditure incurred for rectification of the same by any other means.

Excavating in trenches in soft / loose soil, n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth: for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cessapits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n.exc 10 Sq.m on plan and in.exc 1.5m in depth and getting in soft/dense soil out all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, using excavated soil including spreading, levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm as specified and as directed.

Removing the surplus excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above starting point.

M&L for providing cement cocrete Type B1, 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded aggregate) as in coping, bed plates, etc. all as specified and directed.

Cleaning and replacement of filter media in filteration by removing old filter media with bleaching powder slurry and clear water incuding discarding of unusable filter media and disposing off same to a distance exc 500m and n exc 1km, scraping the internal surfaces of filter tank with wire brush, cleaning with bleaching powder slurry, cleaning with fresh water and refilling up of cleaned filter media alongwith new filter media as described in this schedule item here -in-after in layers as per existing filter bed complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Supply of new filter media shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Supply only filter media of size 1/8 to 1/6 to 1/32 inch complete in layers as per existing filteration plant for balancing the retrived media complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The filter media shall be provided to match with the existing one of each filtertank and as per sample available at NAD Filter plant

M&L for Painting to external surface of Pressure Filter Plant unit including connected pipes (size of 150mm dia), valves etc. (size 1.5 Mtr Dia & 3. Mtr Height) with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of sky blue colour / shade duly preparing the existing painted surface all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge / GE.

Cleaning of RCC Semi under ground sump / suction gallery of following capacity by emptying the reservoirs, taking down the scale/sludge/mud/algae formed including and other foreign materials got deposited on side of walls and bottom of the tanks by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, cleaning with pressure pump, washing with bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing and cleaning the tank with fresh water including applying one coat of white wash on internal surface of reservoirs/sumps and written details on tanks like date of cleaning, capacity of tanks etc on the out side of the tank with synthetic enamel paint with letter size 20cm high, 10cm width in white colour, over a black background of size 100 x 60cm all as specified and directed for the following capacity. Note :- (i) The photographs before and after cleaning be submitted to Engineer-in-charge for records. (ii) Sample testing of every UG sumps water before and after cleaning from auth Govt agency.

M&L for B check maintenance in 500 KVA DG Cummins / Greaves set incl change of lub oil & fuel filters all as specified by the OEM complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for C check maintenance in 500 KVA DG Cummins / Greaves set incl change of lub oil & fuel filters all as specified by the OEM complete all as specified and as directed

Attending complaints / repairs of any capacity and any make DG set and bring to normal working condition as per OEM instructions incl checking of cable lungs, connections, insulations and residual voltage etc all as specified and directed.
