EXCAVATION AND EARTHWORK

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas(exceeding 30 cm in depth,1.50m in width as well as 10 Sqm on plan) including getting out in all kind soil complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) means over areas(exceeding 30 cm in depth,1.50m in width as well as 10 Sqm on plan) including getting out in soft/ordinary rock complete as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

RIGID PAVEMENTS

S&F Engineer plastic signage boards/link boards of standard size, both side with writings/signs/arrows with retro-reflective sheetings of approved type and colour,made of hard plastic or perplex sheet 4 to 5 mm thick of approved colour and type,duly framed in with aluminium strip suitable size as required,mounted up on adequate number of legs of minimum height of 3'6'' made out of specialised frangible material,weather proof, Bird proof elastic spikes on top of board suitable to withstand extreme cold,extreme heat and high velocity wind pressure etc complete all as specified and as directed Notes: (a) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of following:- (i) Excavation for post holes of min size (400mm x 400mm x600 mm)in any type of soil as required filling in and removal of excess soil. (ii) Duly embedding legs of boards into PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates upto GL. (iii)Writings/alphabates/letters/dashes/arrows etc shall be of different sizes,type etc as per requirement of AF authorities.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Material and labour for construction of PCC block masonary valve pit chamber of size 450x450x600mm internal dimensions with 150mm thick PCC foundation 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate with 150mm wide off sets ground, block masonary (1:3:6) built in CM 1:6, 150mm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 finished even and smooth, rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth internally and renering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 finished fair and even externally including excavation earth work in any type of soil returning and filling , removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre, 3mm thick MS sheet cover fixed on 50mm x 50mm x6mm thick angle iron rame embedded in PCC coping with locking arrangement and mild steel hold fast mild steel handles and painting to steel surfaces with two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and plaster surface with three coats of white wash etc complete all as specified and dirrected

EXTERNAL ELECTRC SUPPLY

Dismantling and taking down of existing High mast of any type and height alongwith fittings and fixture complete including dismantling of foundation, earth work complete and kept aside for schedule fo credit complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling and taking down of existing flood lights of any type and height alongwith fittings and fixture alongwith mounting arrangements complete and kept aside for schedule of credit or reuse at site complete all as directed

Taking out the existing LT/HT cable after disconnecting from over head lines, LT Panels, DBs and other similar equipments or from trenches, pole etc and kept aside for schedule or credit all as required and directed at site. Note: excavation and earth work will be measured and paid seprately.

M & L for local tibba Sand as in cushioning to under ground cable in trenches /existing cable trenches/ducts in layers of 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying and stretching the cable complete all as specified and directed . note: Pundowned thickness of 18cm shall be considered for measurement and payment purpose

M&L for Design, supply, erection, commissioning and testing of outdoor type LT Panel, platform mounted, suitable for 3 phase 4 wire, 415 volts AC supply and having 4 Nos stepped type main copper bus bars of 150 Amps, looping & branch connection system shall be made with suitable rating copper bus bar having sleeves of colour coded .The chamber shall be painted with powder coated paint (Shade : RAL-7032) after 9 tank pre-treatment of surfaces. The LT Panel shall be provided with suitable Neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof and degree of protection not less than IP-55 and general construction conforming to IS : 13947. The LT Panel shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA mild steel sheet and 3.00mm thick gland plate , front door (02 layers) and rear Door (01 layer) opening facility and 4 side slanting canopy type roof on top and mild steel channel (75 MC) base frame at bottom. All incoming MCCBs shall be marked with location and rating of MCCBs. The Feeder Pillar shall be provided with ventilation facility in the form of louvers for better heat dissipation in and including the followings : CONTROL WIRING : All control wirings shall have to be carried out with 1100 volts rated FR grade PVC insulated multi-flexible type copper wire of cross sectional area 1.50Sqmm and shall be properly bunched, tied and dressed, ferrule marked for proper identification and crimped with suitable size and type of tinned copper lugs and shall be wrapped with PVC spring type tube near the door hinges.

CABLE ALLEY- Cable alley shall be provided in both side of the panel of suitable space for all incoming and outgoing cables. Cable terminals shall be provided for conecting of all incoming and outgoing cables, INCOMING :- MCCB 100 Amps, 4 pole, 415 volts, 25 kA, 50 Hz, Thermal magnetic release - 01 Nos OUTGOING : (a) MCCB 63 Amps, 4 pole, 415 volts, 16 KA, 50 Hz, thermal magnetic release, adjustable to 70% to 100 % - 01 Nos (b) MCCB 40 Amps, 4 pole, 415 volts, 16 KA, 50 Hz, thermal magnetic release, Thermal magnetic release, adjustable 70% to 100% - 04 Nos (c) Digital volt meter 96mm x 96mm suitable to read 0 to 500 volts, accuracy class 1% - 01 Nos (d) Digital Ammeter 96mm x 96mm suitable to read 0 to 100 Amps, accuracy class 1% - 01 Nos (e) Current transformer (CT) of rating 100/5, tape wound, rated burden 5 VA - 03 Nos (f) LED indicator lamps complete with integral circuit and cluster LED, suitable to operate in 230-240 Volts AC supply - 1set of 03 Nos (Red - 01, Yellow- 01, Blue - 01)

(g) Control fuse holder, made of bakellite, 16 Amps rating, stud type, pannel door mounting complete with 01 No 02 Amps HRC fuse of suitable type- 03 Nos (h) Copper bus bar of suitable size and length duly mounted on FRP bus bar insulators and marked with standard colour coded sleeves / tapes for all outgoing MCCBs (j) LED Pilot Lamp of following colours : (i) RED - 01 No, YELLOW - 01 No, BLUE - 01 No. (k) Danger Notice Plate -02 Nos (l) Power contactor four pole with coil voltage 230 volt of capacity 25 Amps 50 cycles. - 01 Nos (m) Time switch microrex analog time switch -01 Nos (n) Pannel box made up of CRCA mild steel 3.15mm thick, duly powder coated with busbar and internal wiring all as per CPRI approved (The panel shall not be less than 1.0 Sqm front area and depth 500mm) ' Note : Panel will be manufactured by CPRI approved firm . The contractor shall submit drawing of the panels to Engr-in-charge before procurement of LT panel for approval alongwith CPRI approval letter. Foundation will prepared as per instructions of manufacturer and rate of fondation shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Supply, fixing, connecting and testing of Automatic Street light switch using infrared Sensor based Nature Switch for automatic switching of street lights, Nature switch operation should be based on Natural light lux level. Required illumination level for switching on is < 30 lux and for switching off > 10 lux. The sensor should also have part night operation facility for 4 - 12 hours.
