Dismantling/opening up existing ceiling fan size of 1200 mm sweep, taking out all burnt/damaged windings insulating materials & cleaning internally as well as externally, rewinding the fan motor with super enamelled copper wire as per existing size/specification, replacement of complete insulating materials, varnishing drying up, cleaning & greasing of bearing/buses using new grease, reassembling and testing and transporting back to site and refixing to original position. The rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to include replacement of defective slip pin and roller rubber if worn out and connecting wire of 3 core 1.5 Sqmm pvc flexible copper wire upto 1.0 mtr complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair fan blade suitable for 1200/1400mm sweep complete all as specified & as directed. (Make- As per sample)

Taking down of ceiling fan / exhaust fan of any size/sweep for overhauling/ servicing comprising dismantaling , cleaning internally and externally including applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (1st grade quality) by spray machine and cleaning/lubricating of bearing/buses using fresh lubricant (Oil grease) re-assembling, hanging on same position, connecting and testing for proper functioning complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Replacement of defective spares for making the ceiling fan units in satisfactory working condition will be measured & paid separately under relevant items as 'Supply only'. (ii) Labour charges for taking out old spares & refixing of new spares shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate. (iii) Required defective split pin, roller rubber and suitable connecting wire of same size and core shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.

Dismantling and taking out defective geyser of any capacity of any make and rectification of defects including repairing and refixing at same position, connecting and testing for proper functioning complete, replacing spares as required , wire terminals, soldering / crimping required at site for proper functioning of the equipment complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: (i) Replacement of defective spares for making the geyser units in satisfactory working condition will be measured & paid separately under relevant items as 'Supply only'. Checking and attending day to day complaints by means of finding of fault, repairing/rectifying the electric defects/faults related to internal wiring,switch, socket, light fittings, fan, Tightening the loose connections and all accessories and fixtures maintained by MES at DIPAC complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i) This item covers only cost of labour for attending complaints and taking down of old material. (ii) Item required to be replaced under this item shall be measured and paid separately as supply only items. (iii) Complaints noted NO light shall be attended immediately from 0800 Hrs upto 2200 HRS without fail, failing which recovery of rate Rs 240/- per complaint per day shall be effected from the RARs/FB. (iv) Minor items such as PVC wire of any size as per requirement upto 1.0 mtr length, thimble, electric tape etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item. (v) The complaints shall be attended and defects shall be rectified within 08 Hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a penalty of Rs 120/ per complaint per day shall be leived/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. (vi) Contractor shall arrange suitable T&P incl necessary from work and scoffolding and safety measures to make it functional complete all as specified and directed. (vii) Contractor or his rep will report daily at 0900 Hrs at complaint cell for collection of complaint from the concerned JEs incharge. In case after checking and attending if it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 Hrs, the fact shall be brought to the notice of Engr-In-Charge by the contractor/his rep immediately. If Engr-In-Charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will made on this account. Discretion of Engr-In-Charge shall be final and binding.

(viii) Approx 4 to 5 complaints are received per day. (ix) The electrician has to reach the site within 45 minuites after receipt of complaint. failing which recovery of rate Rs 500/- per complaint per day shall be effected from the RARs/FB. (x) The electrician should be in possession of mobile and two wheeler for uses of communication and mobility. (xi) The contractor will maintain complaint docket/complaint slip for each complaint. after rectification of fault/complaint on complaint slip duly signed by user and JE same will be handed over to MES Rep.
