Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR/FE-500 D grade or more for R.C.C. works, where no included in the complete rate of R.C.C. including Straightening, bending, binding, wastage, oberlaps, welded joijts, space bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights/depths/storeys/basements etc. Note:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hooks, if any separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps. From the length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS-1732. Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement. The rate also includes the cost of accurately planned and fitted centring, supports for all works as well as for all curves and special work, cleaning out their beds etc. Sodium silicate shall be supplied free of cost at the stores of Engineer- in-charge.
