Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm and n. exc 50mm deep all as specified and directed

M&L for WBM 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse aggregate with lime stones, sand stones, flint or quartize of grading 2 (63mm to 45mm size) or grading (50 to 20mm size) spread rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing of existing subgrade n exc 15 cm deep in hard and dense soil. complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces in cutting of roads, consolidation to required level, gradiant and camber, filling in hollo and depression with exc 8 and n.exc 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (spread thickness) soling (or sub base) with broken boulder quarried stone interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with exc 8 and n.exc 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Material, laying & compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) in two layers 75 mm each Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MORTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MORTH specifications for Road amd Bridge works 2013.

Preparing WBM / WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing cacked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm on WBM / WMM surface and preparation of surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average thickness 50 mm using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 (50 -70 penetration) @ 4% by weight of total mix cpmplete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10 @5 Kg per 10 Sqm on prepared black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5%. binder content by weight of total mix spread by means of self propelled mechanical spread/paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel static steel wheel and pneumatic tyre rollers min capacity 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5%. binder content by weight of total mix spread by means of self propelled mechanical spread/paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using Tandem vibratory steel wheel static steel wheel and pneumatic tyre rollers min capacity 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed. Notes for recarpeting : (a) Preparation of mix in hot mix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable on this account.

Continuous brick edging width equal to the width of the brick laid dry on end vertically with old size brick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips/lines/dashes/arrows/letters (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermosplatic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profiles shoes glass beads dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoes driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of materials labour etc on new/old road surface including T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt seals, oil, grease and foreigh material etc complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) The rates shall be inclusive of mixing glass beads (ballotini) in thermoplastic material. (ii) The quantity of ballotini included/mixed during the manufacture of material should not be less than 20% by mass of mixture or applied to the surface of the thermoplastic immediately application is complete @ 300 grms / sqm as directed by Engr -in-Charge. The ballotini shall comply with BS6088 : 1981 (1993) "Specification for Solid Glass Beads for use with Road Marking".

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level), complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for Hardcore of guage exc 63mm but n exc. 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete coloured interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment of shape and size approved by Engineer-in-Chrage, confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade , complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured reflective chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, With grey cement and pigments, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry ,over and including 20 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar 1:6, over new or existing sub-base in floors complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling road STUD (CAT eyes), solar studs, refelective convex mirror, speed bump of any size complete all as specified and directed.

S&F road STUD (CAT eyes) of size 100x100x20mm made of polycarbonate with electronically welded prismatic retro- reflective lens panel of approved colour on both side for maximum retro reflection in wet and dey condition non breakable dust proof type fixed with epoxy chemical nails screws and clamps, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Cat eye solar road studs RED, Amber or white of size 100 x 100 x 21mm, height without stump - 21mm, height with stump 55mm, stump dia 33mm, LEDs electronically operated with 4 Nos solar cell, Battery - 1600MA/1.2 volts Ni-Mh mono-crystalline 2.4v/0.3 watt, aluminium reflective frame- ploycarbonate weight of stud 360 gms, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F refelective convex mirror of dia 800 mm and mounted over mild steel pipe 40mm bore (medium grade) and 2.5 mtr long including excavation of post holes of size 400x400x600 mm and PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed including taking down of existing one.

S&F speed bump of size 500x425x50 mm made by rubber compression molding pre-coloured UV stabilized material black & yellow with two reflectors of size 70 mm x 23 mm fixed on both sides of the speed bump, speed bumps fixed with epoxy chemical nails screw and clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not other wise specifically provided, complete all as specified & directed..

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over kerb stone in white/yellow/black shade including priming coat after preparation of new surface laid as per design approved , complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for painting of one coat synthetic enamel paint over kerb stone in white/yellow/black shade including cleaning/preparation of the old surface laid as per design approved, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for 100 mm thick Cement concrete type B- 2, 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate), in pavement and in hardstanding,etc,complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cement concrete shall be placed in alternate panels not exceeding 5 sqm of each panel.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5m wide & n exc 1.5m in depth; for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10sq m on plan & getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F pre-cast cement concrete U type drain 70 mm thick walls, inner dimensions 300x300mm all as per manufacturer instructions.

S&F pre-cast cement concrete drain cover of size 500 x 410 with thickness 110mm for 300mm section of drain all as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L for reinforced concrete hume pipes 200 mm dia bore NP2 class laid in trenches and jointed complete with coller etc including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC in foundations, filling and mass-concrete type C-2(1:3:6) using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed.

Brickwork with subclass `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC in lintels upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic & other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating, as directed type B1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded aggregate, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Rendering 15mm thick on fair face of brickwork in CM (1:4) finished even & smooth (without using extra cement), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer as in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
