Taking out U/S exiting filter media from filtter bed of any size/depth including removing material to distance exceeding 50 meter but not exceeding 100 meter, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Reuse/relaying the natural gravel pebbles of size 20mm to 40mm grades after washing and cleaning complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old slotted pipes of any type and size and S&F ductile Iron pipes of 80mm bore with flanged ends, Class “K-9”, having slots for filtered water as per the existing shape, size and pattern, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Taking out unserviceable Sluice valve and Supply & Fixing only cast iron sluice valve of size 150mm bore both end flanged, long body, class PN-1.6 conforming to IS 14846-2000 (ISI marked) with iron wheel and stainless steel spindle and fly nut, bolts, washers and rubber gasket etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, Laying and testing MS pipes heavy grades (ERW steel) including cutting,bending and welding as per site requirement and specials with flanged and drilled ends, jointing materials like nuts, bolts and gasket etc of nominal dia 250mm as per IS 1239 (1981) fixed in replacement of existing u/s complete by cutting road/footpath/ floor/ hard standing and making surface good as previous, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Make: Radicon, Elecon and equivalent as approved by GE. Note:-1. Old US motor with gear aseembley will be the property of MES and will be deposited to MES Store .2. contractor is advised to visit the water filteration plant Maru Vihar first. Dismantling the unserviceable Alum feeding motor 2/3 HP along with electric winch to civil work shop for rewinding of motor, replacing the unserviceable relay switch of the winch, servicing and overhauling including all greasing work and refixing the same as existing and testing for smooth functioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note: contractor is advised to visit the water filteration plant Maru Vihar first. Contractor is liable to made it fully functional after installation so any other items needed to made valve functional up to the satisfaction of Accepting officer/ Eng In Charge shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Dewatering the left over water from existing floculator wash out tank having top plan size 12 x 12 metre bottom plan size 10 x 8 metre and depth 4.00 metre, desilting, sludge, silt, all accumulate material from the bottom and sides and removing to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the outer perimetre of tank and depositing where directed by Engr-in-charge including preparation of surface by wire brushing and apply one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . Note :Approximate depth of silt 185 cm and depth of water approximately 100 cm.

Material and labour for servicing and repair /maint of RO Plant of capacity 11000 Ltrs/hrs including replacement of all bag filters cartridge filter,backwash of membrane (including chemical ), tightening of all bends and coupling of PVC Pipe, checking of electrical and control wiring etc. including testing of water from authorised lab after every service to check the desired value of drinking water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge . Note :- Spare parts suitable for existing plant required to be replaced shall be paid separately under respective items .

Disconnecting & dismantling the defective single phase/Three phase induction motor squirrel cage of any make and of capacity up to 3/5 HP 415 Volts, 50 HZ, 2850 RPM and rewinding the motor with super enamelled copper wire of first quality of existing size/gauge and weight including replacement of all insulation materials, varnish and all other petty items required to make motor functional and re-assembling the motor including installation commissioning and testing on full load complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No.114 here-in-before but motor of cap 7.5 HP.

Dismantiling of cast iron work of any description

Supply and fixing joist channel angle or tee sections fixed independentely with out connecting plate Etc of Fe-410 W Gde E-250 quality A, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of plates ( plain or chequered ) channels squre cut or notched ordinary and counter sunk forming holes with riveted ,bolted or welded attachment FE-410W-( Gde-E 250 ) quality A for using pit cover, tank cover,Floculator etc.complete all as specified and directed .

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quions arches pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Brickwork with subclass B bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for Rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for cement concrete in foundations filling and mass concrete Type D2 1:4:8 (40 mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing GI perforted channel type cable tray 16 SWG 300x50 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge. Make Legrand or Equivalent Note:- The rate are including of removing serviceable cables and fixing it on cable tray properly all as directed

M&L for replacement of Earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6.00 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with mixture of charcoal and common salt in alternate layers and electrode connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 4mm dia as earthing lead by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, earth strip protected by galvanized steel pipe 40 mm bore (light grade) connected to machinery/equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2010 Part I and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering, funnel, wire mesh, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 chamber, PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 reinforced with 6 mm dia MS round bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways for cover 50 mm thick and MS frame of suitable size made of angle iron 50 x 50 x 60 mm, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The unit rate includes earth lead and protection pipe up to maximum 7.5 metre from earth plate to earth point/test point. (ii) Earth pit shall be constructed minimum 0.5 metre away from existing earth.

Supply and fixing in replacement of old unserviceable earth continuity conductor of size 25x4mm galvanised iron strip along with all necessary jointing material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Greasing/Oiling of compressors /pumps/motors capacity 5 Hp to 75 with grease gun and necessary T&P for greasing/oiling of pump set/blower at water supply installation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Painting of compressors /Motors/pumps of capacity 5 HP to 75 Hp with spray coated painting and necessary T&P for painting of pump set/blower at STP installation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F high quality ACP sheet of size 1.5 feet x 1.5 feet minimum with router cutting letter blue base of sheets and white colour acrylic letter with complete fitting complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Detail of printing material for flex will be provided by department.

M&L for attending any type pump/motor/LT panels/Starters complaint at any water supply installation and rectify the same, rates are also included for replcement of thimbles any type and any size with nut-bolts and cable jointing with tap, gland packing, greasing in pumps/valves with all connected items all as specified by the Engr-in-Charge. Note: Complaint should be rectify within 06 Hrs otherwise a penalty of 250 Rs per day will be imposed.

Maintenance and repair to leakage/blockage of water supply MS/CI/DI pipe line of 80 mm to 250 dia size including necessary excavation required for taking out burning out lead joint or damaged rubber ring/hole from position and making the disturbed surfaces as per existing surface after replacing new spun yarn and lead joint or Tyton joint or necessary fitting required as per site properly including welding work and making the pipe line leak proof completly to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge .Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be included in quoted rate.

Material labour & demolition of old valve pit in replacement the construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 90cmx90cmx90cm (Type 'B') (internal dimensions) of chamber, depth of chamber to be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation to top of MS cover and including MS sheet cover fabricated from 3.15mm thick MS sheet and frame of angle iron 50x50x6mm with fixing arrangement, hinges and locking arrangement and painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide on MS cover and frame including necessary excavation earth work in any type of soil returning, filling in, disposal of surplus soil, PCC (1:2:4) work, complete all as specified. (Ref drawing : CE AF/STD-28/94 sheet no 1/2 & 2/2 dated 01.02.94.

Construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 120cmx120cmx120cm (Type 'B') (internal dimensions) of chamber, depth of chamber to be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation to top of MS cover and including MS sheet cover fabricated from 3.15mm thick MS sheet and frame of angle iron 50x50x6mm with fixing arrangement, hinges and locking arrangement and painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide on MS cover and frame including necessary excavation earth work in any type of soil returning, filling in, disposal of surplus soil, PCC (1:2:4) work, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Ref drawing : CE AF/STD-28/94 sheet no 1/2 & 2/2 dated 01.02.94.

Material and labour for rubber moulded machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver with grey cement confirming to IS -15658-2000 of 60 mm thickness , M-35 grade as in path , hard standing etc laid over and including 25 mm compacted sand cushioning , including 75 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate including surface excavation over area n. exc. 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil and remving excavated soil exc 50 mtr but n . exc 250 mtr , at any installation as per requirementincluding demolition of existing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing flex board of minimum size 4feet x 3 feet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Detail of printing material for flex will be provided by department.

Taking down old US swimming pool pump set and supply fixing and testing commissioning of swimming pool pump set three phase of capacity 3 HP including making coonection with suitable size of copper cable complete all as specified and directed. Make Kirloskar Eterna swimming pool pump of Model No KPP 2200 or Equivalent. .Old US pump will be the property of MES and will be deposited to MES Store.

Complete removal of the wild grass/ vegetation from surrounding area of OHTs, Tubeswells/Boosters and installations area and making the surface clear and plain and spraying roundup chemical on the same clean area as directed after removing and depositing the same at a distance not less than 50 mtr away from the site complete all as specified. Note- All necessary T&P will be provided by the contractor and no extra amount will be paid for that seperately.

Scraping old existing paint from pipes of different sizes or any other surfaces including making smooth surface and primer and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing/approved colour as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note:-(i) Since this work pertains to water supply of station so timely action is the utmost essential criterion, so action shall be initiated within 8 hours after receiving order (through Phonecall, Text message, site Order or any other means) from Engineer in charge/JE E/M, if due to any unavoidable circumstance contractor is not able to perform the work within 8 hours then work shall be initiated by next morning/Day with proper justification about unavoidable circumstance to Engineer In charge, else Rs 500/- per delay day penalty shall be imposed over the contractor, Decision of Engineer In charge/ Accepting officer shall be final in this regard.

Contract Amount shall be derived after deducting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary on serial page No 17 of tender documents.
