DG SET

The DG offered shall be from a reputed DG OEM who has been carrying out the business of supplying and servicing DGs in India for at least the past 10 years. The OEM shall have an installation base of at least 50000 KVA of DGs in India and installed and commisioned at least 10000KVA of DGs in the past one year. The DG OEM shall also have their office premises and their own Service Set up in Chennai with at least 4 qualified technicians. A warehouse of the OEM stocking all essential spare parts in Chennai is also mandatory.

A confirmation letter from the OEM that they are willing to Supply, Commission, Provide warranty support and undertake AMC for the DGs sourced through the DG Contractor is required.

Supply of DG Packages at site including all import duties, other levies, transport to site, insurance(till commissioning & handover).

Crane charges Unloading of DGs at site, Shifting them to location after removing the existing DGs at ground level and positioning them.

Carrying Out Factory performance test OEM certified test bed a) Full load testing for 8 hours with load bank,b) Overload testing at 10% overload for one hour immediately after the full load test c) Operation of protective devices.

Charges for arranging for factory visit for client nominated personnel to witness performance test. Charges to include to-and-fro travel charges from Chennai, Travel insurance, Documentation charges, Boarding & Lodging, all incidental expenses etc.,for 2 persons for DG's test.

Supply Installation, Testing and commissioning of 1010 KVA / 808 KW Diesel Generating Set comprising of Diesel Engine Developing 1180 BHP under NTP conditions complete with standard accessories coupled with alternator rated at 808 KW / 1010 KVA, 415V, 50Hz, 0.8 pf mounted on a channel iron base frame, 990 Ltrs fuel tank Located outside with Acoustic, suitable starting batteries with leads, Residential silencer and SET MOUNTED ISOLATOR PANEL with Acoustic Enclosure. The design ambient shall be 45 Deg C and as per the latest CPCB Norms,detailed technical specifications. The charges shall inclusive of unloading and Positioning of the DG Set, Acoustic Enclsoure, control panel in the Prepared Foundation. The DGs shall be installed in the existing DG foundation after removal of exisitng 600 kVA DG set. Any modifications in the foundations will be carried out by IIT M through our civil division. The charges shall also inclusive of removal handing over and placing the DGs at designated location within 500meters as directed by Engineer in charge.

GA drawings of the panel shall got to be approved from the Engineer in charge before procurement.

Supply installation testing and commissioning of Synchronizing PANEL SUITABLE FOR 3 X 1010 KVA DG SET. comprising Incomers: 3 NOS 2000 Amps 60kA 4P EDO ACB, Out Going : 3 NOS 2000 Amps 65kA 4P EDO ACB & 2 NOS 3200 Amps 65kA 4P EDO ACB as BUS COUPLER WITH NECESSARY RELAYS & METERING SYSTEM as per the detailed specfication.The rate shall inclusive of connecting all the DG parameters with synchronizing panel witht he existing BMS.

EXHAUST SYSTEM

Supply, Installation of 10" DIA MS ''B''class Exhaust pipe of 5mm thick with necessary flanges and 50 mm thick rock wool insulation having density of 64kg/cum with 24 SWG aluminium sheet wrappingand aliied accessories.

Charges for installation of silencer with 50 mm thick mineral wool, 24 SWG aluminium sheet, chicken mesh etc

Supply, Installation of 14" DIA MS ''B''class Exhaust pipe of 5mm thick with necessary flanges and aliied accessories in the veritical stacks including supply and installation of 50 mm thick rock wool insulation having density of 64kg/cum with 24 SWG aluminium sheet wrappingand aliied accessories. The crane charges shall be inclusive of erection of the exhaust pipe after removal of the old exhaust pipe from the existing vertical stacks. The removed exhaust pipe shall be handed over and placed to designated location within 500 metres as directed by the Engineer in charge. The charges shall inclusive of painting with 2 coats MRF rubberized paint after one coat of primer.

Supply and installation of 400mm dia SS flexible bellows as required.

Supply and installation of MS supports for Silencer, Bus duct, Cable tray, Fuel Tank, Pipe etc using channel, plate, angle, fastners etc with painting with 2 coats MRF rubberized paint after one coat of primer.

Earthing System

Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Cast iron pipe and copper plate earth as per IS - 3043 - 1987 including excavation of soil and sub soil , back filling with equal layers of salt and charcoal and the excavated soil , ramming, consolidating, Masonry construction, heavy duty cover slab etc. The CI pipe should be 100mm dia and 3mt long bolted with 600 x 600 x 3 mm thick copper plate at the bottom. 2R of 50 x 3 mm copper flats should be taken from the copper plate to the top of the CI pipe and clamping with suitable clamps
