Earth work Open excavation by Mechanical Means for Open Earthwork in all soils and sub-soils and to full depth as may be directed except in rock requiring blasting in clusive of shoring shuttering, bailing out water wherever necessary and depositing the surplus earth within the compound in places shown by the departmental officers with an initial lead of 100 mts and clearing and levelling including dressing of sides and raming of bottoms etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Supplying and Fixing of Digitally Printed Retroreflective Single Arrow Sign board of size 1595mm x 900mm made of Type XI grade cube corner micro prismatic grade sheeting confirming to IRC 67-2012 as per ASTMD-4956-09 Specifications, Digitally Printed using Latex Printer for Traffic Colour logos/text and laminated with UV Resistant clear electro-cut film and applied to proper prepared sign substrate made of 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) with 0.25mm aluminium skin thick on both sides and back support frame angle of 25mm x 25mmx3mm Supported by 32NB, 2.7mm Thick Stainless steel pipe all round in 304 grade and 2 nos. of vertical posts of 65NB, 3.04mm thick stainless steel pipe of 304 grade firmly fixed to the found by means of properly designed foundation of size 300 mm x 300 mm x 450 mm with M15 Grade cement concrete and the item shall include earthwork excavation, cost of materials, loading, unloading, lead, lift, transportation etc, complete as per approved template. The signs shall be manufactured using a system of matched components of reflective sheeting and overlay films and digital inks manufactured and supplied by the reflective sheeting manufacturer .Digitally printed traffic colour (red, blue, green, yellow, orange and brown) areas on white sheeting shall not be having less than 70 percent of the value of the coefficient of retro reflection established for its colour and type of sheeting as given in Table 6.9 of IRC 67-2012.The coefficient of retro reflection after the stipulated warranty period shall be minimum 80 percent of the initial value of the printed sign (initial value shall be minimum 70% of the values given in table 6.9 of IRC 67-2012). Match component system warranty for the components like retro-reflective sheeting, overlay films and digital inks shall be provided by the manufacturer The Retro reflective sheeting shall be covered under 10 years warranty issued for field performance and certified copy of completed three years outdoor exposure report shall be obtained by the engineer-in-charge. The warranty shall be inclusive of digitally printed logos/text/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting (as per MoRT&H Specification No.801). The latex printer used for digital printing should be used with Inks of low VOC emission and should have Greenguard, eco logo certificate as per UL 2801 Standards. The warranty & Test certificates shall be obtained from the retro-reflective sheeting manufacturer by the contractor and shall be submitted to engineer-in-charge.
