PROVISION OF EOT AND HOT CRANES TO PROCESS BUILDING OF HARPOON MISSILE FACILITY AT INS TUNIR KARANJA

Design ,supply, install, testing and commissioning of indoor type FLAME PROOF electrically operated travelling double girder over head crane of 6 Ton capacity, class II, M5 as per IS:3177 of 1999 and IS : 807 of 2006 and other relevant Indian standards of latest versions having straight travel path, operating on 415 volts, 3 phase, 50Hz, AC and with control voltage not exceeding 110 volts, AC through low voltage transformer with independent movable pendent supported by chain having lift of hook 5 mtr above floor level, span not exceeding 12.5m and rails (long travel length as per drawings 45m), double girder type main gantry girder, floor operated movable pendent control by means of push buttons independent of crab trolly position with flame proof protective panel with down shop lead, flameproof trailing cable complete with all accessoried/equipments duly flameproof epoxy painted complete all as stipulated in Annexure-'A' here in after as per OEM specifications, as shown on drawings and as directed. The make of crane shall be as approved by the Accepting Officer. The span mentioned is tentetive excact span shall be measured at site before fabrication. Note-The span specified is tentative,the minor variation in span is permissible as per the site requirement without any price adustment .the rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of the same.

NOTE:- (a) Unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include provision of flame proof electrical wiring of suitable size in rigid metallic conduits fixed on surfaces from main switch upto electrical control panels and longitudinal travelling rail welded alongwith ISMC.

Design, ,manufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of indoor type heavy duty hand operated traveling (HOT) overhead crane, capable of handling 5 metric tonnes (MT) main hoist with centre to centre clear span not exceeding 12.5 metres,single box girder type main gantry girder with necessary steel supporting structure and crab with clear hook height of 5 metres from the floor of corridor all as specified complete with all assessories/equipments and painted all as per OEM specification as approved by Engr-in-charge. HOT crane shall be provided with the following specifications and capable for Hand operating movements: (i) Longitudinal travel shall be limited to 1.0 m away from the walls on both ends. (ii) HOT crane shall be provided with the following movements:- (iii) Capacity of crane : 5.0 Ton single girder (iv) Clear Span : 12.5 Mtr approx. (v) Bay lengh : 45.0 Mtr (vi) Hook height : 5 Mtr from the floor

NOTE:-(For Item no1 and Item no 2) (a) The crane shall be tested stage wise for 25%, 50%, 75%,100% (full load) and 25% overloadis to be carried out. All materials and manpower required for the testing arrangements is demed to be included in the quoted rate and nothing extra is admissible. (b) Guard shall be provided all along the length with approach ladders on both the sides of crane with hand rail on both the sides of ladder at a suitable level and the ladders should have landing platforms at every 4 to 5m or less. (c) Clear span and bay length specified and shown on building are only indicative. The tenderer shall visit the site and as certain exact span and bay length before quoting the rates. (e) Gantry rail made up of 50 mm square bar duly welded to ISMC beam longitudinally including painting with 2 coats of epoxy paint over red oxide primer all as specified deemed to be included in quoted rate. (f) Dimensions,capacities/sizes of equipments/ accessories mentoned on drawing are minimum to be provided. Prior approval of Accepting Officer shall be obtained for the detailed construction drg of HOT crane and the rates quoted above shall deemed to include such provisions and its accessories before execution of work. (g) The crane should be manufactured as per latest IS standard and safety factors. The final drawing and design of the crane shall be got approved from IIT / NIT and shall be submitted to Accepting Officer before manufacturing of the crane.

M and L for Earthing for EOT crane with galvanized cast iron earth plate of size 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground not less than 2.5 mtr below ground level, earth plate packed on all sides with charcoal mixed with salt to a thickness of 150mm connected by GI earth strip of size 32 mm x 6mm thick soldered and riveted to earth plate. GI strip will be protected by using 50 mm bore GI pipe (light grade) earth plate to the motor of EOT Crane including flat iron clamp 25 x 3 mm including bolts, nuts and washer complete. The earthing included necessary earth work in excavation, PCC pit, RCC cover and frame, watering pipe 20 mm bore, funnel with wire mesh etc all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I. Earth lead connected to earthing test point all as specified and testing of earthing on completion.
