Excavation for road way in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/ mechanical means, including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, soft rock, hard rock chiseling wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil complete including setting out true to the required lines grades, width, cutting and trimming of side slopes, camber, super elevation and levels shown as per the drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in Charge complete in according to MORD Technical Specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out and stacking of useful materials with in all leads and lifts of material in acquired road width and transporting of un-useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus materials to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or by mechanical means including leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stones to the tune of 718.90 cubic metre quantity at the rate of Rs. 300/- only (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic meter shall be effected from the contractor running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed of this item. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him to the extent of damage occurred in all cases. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site obtained from roadway cutting and excavation from drains and foundation of all other structures or other sources, or obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts, graded and compacted to meet requirement, including setting out, true to the lines, grades, width and side slopes in accordance with drawings, including spreading the embankment material with motor–Grader in successive layers of 200mm (two hundred millimeter) uniform thickness, and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 (eight to ten) Tonne static weight to meet the requirements of table 300.1 & 300.2 of MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per the entire satisfactions and directions of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Construction of sub grade and earthen Shoulder with approved materials obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 as per MORD technical specification clause 303 including hauling of material with in all leads, lifts and other incidentals and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as Retaining walls, Breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiseling/wedging out rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials up to any lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface is layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) up to any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidental. Provision of 15 nos.( fifteen numbers) rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm (fifteen to twenty millimeter) high at centre, 250 mm (two hundred fifty millimeter) wide placed at 1 mtr. (one meter) centre-to-centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge, including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and Laying parapets with plain cement concrete 1:3:6 (one cement: three sand; six graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetres nominal size) in parapets and curing complete including the cost of form work with steel plates as per drawing and HP.PWD technical specfications in all respect including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Routine maintenance for five years after completion of construction work as per items and condition of bid documents of Contract data to General condition and contract Technical specification of Ministry of Rural Development for Rural Road including goods services tax including haulage carriage of labour equipment and material to various location through all Modes of transportation in all lead and lifts to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.
