Dismantling existing unserviceable Aluminium conductors, steel reinforced (ACSR conductor) from overhead lines on LT poles, of any type and any size complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Disconnecting and re-stretching ACSR conductor of any size and re-fixing with and including new 2mm dia aluminum binding wire complete all as specified. Note :- (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for cutting / trimming of tree branches touching / approaching the LT over lines upto 3 metre width on each side with hacksaw / axe to clear the LT line including disposal of trimmed branches 100 metre away inside the cantonment area & cleaning site as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Length of each conductor shall be measured as one length.

Supplying, fixing & stretching aluminium conductor steel, reinforced (ACSR) of any size fixed on LT poles fixed on insulators and binding with & including 2 mm binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: - (i) The ACSR conductors shall be conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also be deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminum tapes etc. which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size multiplied by length of span and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS.

S&F in replacement shackle type insulators, vitreous porcelain white, brown or green for working pressure 1100 volts grade of 100 mm height and 115 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of 31mm x 5mm size,14mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement pin type insulator of size 100mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain, vitreous white, brown or green insulator suitable for 1100 volts grade including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two GI washer and one GI nut complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in coping of poles etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angle and throating, necessary form work and fair finishing all exposed faces of concrete without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation of poles, filling & mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge .

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for stays & mass concrete including necessary form work and fair finishing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Suppyling, installing, testing in replacement and commissioning of factory made outdoor type bus bar chamber outer shell shall be made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet duly powder coated siemens gray shade and completely weather, vermin & dust proof, adequate air ventilation at sides & back, outer door shall be provided with double door fix with hinges and locking arrangements etc suitables to accomodate the 200 Amps aluminium bus bar fixed horizontally in staggred manner minimum length 450mm, 3 phases and neutral duly insulated with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves and colour coded mounted on heavy duty DMC insulators including provision for taking out incoming and outgoing cable detacheable plate at bottom for cable entry and making six Nos hole in each bus bar including with bottom frame made out of angle iron 40mm x 40mm x 5mm and 600mm long 4 legs duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surfaces grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate blocks of size 30cm x 30cm x 60cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Inspection/checking of APFC panel 3 phase, 440 voltage 50 Hz AC supply system to improve power factor 0.80 to 0.98 automatic step wise switched capacitor panel to make it serviceable with the help of connecting relays, capacitors, contactors, MCB's, CT's etc and rectifying the defects, replacement of unserviceable part as required at site and cleaning of AMF panel as detecting during inspection or pointed out by users/department and carry out maintenance complete all as specified as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Spare parts required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as supply only..

Laying, jointing, commissioning and testing in replacement XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded, armoured, heavy duty underground electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 240 sq mm 3.5 core confirming to IS-7098 (Part-I-1988) laid in trenches, along poles through pipes etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, cable protection and GI pipe shall be measured & paid for separately under respective items of BOQ (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive of the above provisions. (iii) Cable required for laying shall be issued under Schedule 'B' free for fixing only.

Taking out old unserviceable underground LT Cable with standad aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area upto 95 Sqmm form trenches / floor / road / pipe / along poles and relaying in the same location after repair complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ.

All as per item No 46 above but cable of cross sectional area 120 sqmm to 300 sqmm

S&F in replacement cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel confirming to Fe-290 (Gde E-165) including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, binding cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :Exposed steel surface shall be treated with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and unexposed surface of steel sections shall be applied one coat of red oxide primer.

S&F in replacement stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 using stay rod 20 mm dia x 1800mm long, stay bow 14mm dia and stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm including stay wire 8 SWG x 7 strands, loop type insulator with over all dimensions 90x140mm and clearence of hole 25.5mm, stay clamps and painting to exposed surfaces of mild steel work with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
