Post Installation of Rebars with Hilti RE-500V3 Chemical
Providing and supplying heavy duty HIT-RE500V3 with Rebar with a pre-defined ratio (3:1) of resin and hardener in a soft foil pack of 330ml, 500ml. The product should be approved by ETA, ICC, CSTB, COLA, BZS with Shock approval, Seismic approval in Anchors and Rebars to use in cracked/un-cracked concrete, tested for service temperature of -40deg C to +80 deg C. Application to be designed separately for Rebars as Simply Supported, Moment, or Splice connection as per EC2/TR23 or relevant tested and accepted rebar guidelines. LEED certified injection adhesive for rebar fixing in wet/dry flooded holes conditions for diameters. The chemical should have service life of more than 50 years and is to be tested for water tightness. Drilling hole with double flute type drill bits/hollow drill bits to the required depth by rotary hammer drill, cleaning with brush and jet of clean air, filling resin and hardener using serrated nozzle to eliminate mixing error with standard HDE A22 battery dispenser along with piston plug and extension hose for higher depths to ensure no air bubbles are in the hole and then fixing the rebar, conducting occasional site inspection, executing work by trained personnel and occasional supervision from the manufacturer’s representative in India. The installation and the setting instructions should be strictly followed as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. RE-500 V3 for rebar application must have approval for Seismic, Fatigue, and Fire.

The sign shall be maintained as per section 12 of IRC 67.The retro reflective sheeting shall be tested for a certificate of having the sheeting tested for coefficient of retro reflection, daytime colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance, specular gloss and fungus resistance, 3 years outdoor weathering and its having passed these tests shall be obtained from International/Goverment Laboratory/Institute by the manufacturer of the sheeting and in case the certificate is obtained from international condition, it should also be obtained from indian condition within 3 years of launching of product by the manufacture in abroad.Alternatively, a certificate conforming to ASTM specification (D4956-09) on artificial accelerated weathering requirements from a reputed laboratory in India can be accepted provisionally.In such a situation, the Employer/Client,if so desires could seek for a performance guarantee which would released after receipt acertificate meeting the requirement of three years outdoor weathering of the sheeting as per IRC 67:2012 & proof of the same report shall be uploaded while quoting tendor. Theretro reflective sheeting shall be covered under 7 years warranty to be provided from theoriginal sheeting manufacturer, as per Clause 6.9 of IRC 67:2012. At the end of 7 years,the sheeting shall retain atleast 80% of its original retro-reflectance. When totally wet, thesheeting shall show not less than 90% of the value of the desired retro reflectance.
