SPECIAL REPAIR TO HANGER DOOR OF RANA HANGER AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT AIR FORCE STATION LEH

Dismantling of structural steel work including complete hanger door, iron wheel, channel, angle, CGI sheet, ISCR (Indian Standard Crane Rail), roller made of cast iron, safety angle and beam, flat iron etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Design, preparation of drawing, supply, fabrication and erection at site new hanger doors each of opening size 24.80mx5.0m (with suitable tolerance as per relevant IS/extant guidelines/provisions as approved by GE) to be fixed in existing hanger located at Leh with following complete all as specified and directed :- (A) The gate should have dual mode of operation. (i) Motor/Electronic mode (ii) Manual mode (B) Structure frame system design with structural steel of conforming IS code and design as per IS with standard worst combination of load as per IS code prevailing to leh. The structural frame system should also take for truss/door frame required to support doors at end, while hanger doors are in opening position including necessary RCC foundation. The foundation should be design with SBC 15 ton/Square metre at 1.5 m depth. However, the department shall provide actual SBC of site for the reference of the contractor. In case the SBC is less than 15 Ton/Sqm the foundation design shall be accordingly modified and shall be got approved from GE. The quoted rates is deemed to include this aspect. (C) The gate should have cladding of PUFF material of 80mm thickness with standard wind pressure of leh (D) Design and drawing of hanger door should be vetted from IIT/NIT.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced), of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided for, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing building materials etc other than spoil to a distance of 500m beyond the lead included in the rates, including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in foundation filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring, finished even and smooth using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for forming 12mm thick Expansion joints in 200mm thick cement concrete filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘A’ complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete M-30 (20mm graded aggregate) (design mix) as in Foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter work in rough finished flat surfaces of concrete

S&F TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Rolled mild steel sections Fe-290 (Gde E-165) as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats or other connecting plates complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of red oxide primer, on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth, including preparation of steel surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Note : Schedule of credit for Rs. 116850.00 to be deducted on acceptance of bid.
