Road Works : Box cutting or filling in Road embankment in all sorts of soil including spreading the spoils properly over the flank as necessary or on berm to approximate grade & camber and rolling the sub-grade with power roller to proper camber and grade as per direction and satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including uprooting and removing plants and jungles when and where necessary. Depth upto 650mm.

Dismantling of cement concrete pavement by mechanical means using pneumatic tools,breaking to pieces not exceeding 0.02 cum in volume and stock piling at designated locationsand disposal of dismantled material suptoa lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 202)

Construction of Embankment with Material obtained from Borrow pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits (land own/arranged by the Agency) with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 & 300-1 .The size course material in the mix of earth ordinarily shall not be exceed 75mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305). Cost of compensation for Earth material & its carriage from private land at 5km distance have been includedin the rate. [Note : Royalty will be deducted from the Agency's bill as per Govt. rules]

Construction of Embankment with Material obtained from Borrow pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2 & 300-1 .The size course material in the mix of earth ordinarily shall not be exceed 75mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305). Compensation for earth will vary from place to place and will have to be assessed realistically as per particular ground situation. In case earth is available from Govt. land, compensation for earth i.e. rs 43.00/m3 to be deducted from the Rate in Col. 4. The position is required to be clearly stated in the cost estimate.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 & 300-1.The size course material in the mix of earth ordinarily shall not be exceed 75mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 305).

Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material 1A Plant Mix Method Construction of granular sub-base byproviding graded material such asnatural sand/crushed gravel/crushedstone/combination depending uponthe required grading spreading inuniform layers with motor grader onprepared surface, mixing byappropriate mechanical mixure (withcontrolled addition of water), and compacting with vibratory roller toachieve at least 98% of the maximumdry density for the materialdetermined as per IS:2720 (Part 8),complete as per clause 401 (ii) Rate per cum for grading-II Material Using Pakur Variety Stone Aggregates. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)

Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A) Plant Mix Method Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded materials such as natural sand/crushed gravel/crushed stone/combination depending upon the required grading , spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve at least 98% of the maximum dry density for the material determined as per IS:2720 (Part 8), complete as per clause 401 desired density, complete as per clause 401 III) Rate per cum for grading-III Material

Wet Mix Macadam Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate conforming to the grading of table 400- 13 revised vide table 2 of IRC : 109 (2015) to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density .The thickness of a single compacted layer shall not be less than 75 mm.(Reference to MoRT&H's specification 406. Using Pakur Variety Stone Aggregates. (Payment will be made on the basis of finished compacted volume)
