Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited required) and other intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the technical specification of MORD 2014 clauses 302,1603.1, 1603.2 sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/ or labour if required. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. Recovery of useful stone for 5706.80 cum (Five thousand seven hundred six point eight zero cubic metre) shall be made on prorata basis @ Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre. in each running bill for this item.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, good service tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and technical specification MORD 2014 clause 305 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm ( one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water ( surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, good service tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Railing of M-30 (M-thirty ) grade in situ with 20mm (twenty millimeters) nominal size aggregate true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500 centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm (two thousand millimeters) leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion completed as per approved design drawing including the cost of form work and reinforcement complete as per MORTH technical specification clauses 2703, 1500,1600 & 1700, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material in all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Earth work in excavation of foundation for structure such as (bridge work) etc. in all kinds of classification of soil viz pic work, jumper, blasting work including chiselling and doing work in saturated soil including shoring, strutting and pumping or bailling out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any height/depth and any quantum of water including clear of slush which may arise out during dewatering, disposing the excavated materials clear from the edge of the excavation as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge and refilling trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 25cm (twenty five centimeter) compacted thickness when required into sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering as per MORTH technical specification clause 304,as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material in all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying of filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates satisfying the requirement laid down in 2504.2.2 of MORT&H technical specification clause 710.1.4 of IRC 78 and 2200 to a thickness of not less than 600mm (six hundred millimeter) with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall provided over the entire surface behind abutment, wing wall and return wall to the full height completed to a firm condition complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
