CSA WORKS-UCSPL AUGMENTATION

DISMANTLING WORKS — "DISMANTLING WORKS EXCEPT RCC Dismantling of existing PCC / Masonry Work / Soling / Flexibile Pavements at all heights and depths manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable materials inside the premises & disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable place outside the premises for all leads as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Necessary tools, tackles and staging work shall be arranged by the contractor for safe dismantling and safety of other existing facilities. Demolition of PCC / Masonry Work / Soling / Flexible Pavements will be paid in NET CUM as demolished."

DISMANTLING WORKS FOR — "DISMANTLING WORKS FOR RCCDismantling of existing RCC / Rigid Pavement at all heights and depths manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable materials inside the premises & disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable place outside the premises for all leads as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Necessary tools, tackles and staging work shall be arranged by the contractor for safe dismantling and safety of other existing facilities. Demolition of RCC / Rigid Pavements will be paid in NET CUM as demolished. Rate to include cutting of reinforcement bars and the same needs to be handed over to HPCL without any additional cost."

CLEANING VEGETATION — "CLEANING VEGETATIONCleaning bushes including uprooting of rank vegetation, green bush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30cms (measured at a height of 1m above ground), stacking the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials at an unobjectionable place outside the premises including rubbish etc. upto any lead and all lift as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (Payment will be made for actual site clearance area only)."

TREE CUTTING — "TREE CUTTINGTree cutting of girth more than 30 cm (measured at a height of 1m above ground level) including cutting of trunks and branches, removing of roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material at an unobjectionable place inside/outside the premises. Liasoning with the concerned Statutory Authorities shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. However, Statutory fees shall be paid by the Client."

EARTH WORK IN — "EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION FOR DEPTH UPTO 2 MEarthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means for foundations/site grading in all type of strata excluding hard rock for depth upto 2.0 m in both dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, slush removal including banking excavated suitable serviceable earth within the plant premises and transporting surplus unserviceable material anywhere outside plant boundary limit (disposal areas to be arranged by contractor) complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be the volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual depth. Note : 1. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation required for necessary working space, cutting in slopes etc., which may be required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes and working space in layers as per requirement. 2. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, bailing and pumping out water etc. with all bye works and sundry works complete in all respects."

EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION 2597-URAN CHAKAN — "EARTH WORK IN EXCAVATION FOR DEPTH BEYOND 2 MEarthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means for foundations in all type of strata excluding hard rock for depth beyond 2.0 m in both dry and wet conditions including pumping and bailing out surface and subsoil water, slush removal including banking excavated suitable serviceable earth within the plant premises and transporting surplus unserviceable material anywhere outside plant boundary limit (disposal areas to be arranged by contractor) complete as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. EXCAV_HARD — "EXCAVATION IN HARD ROCK (BLASTING PROHIBITED) Excavation in hard rock (blasting prohibited) by mechanical means and/or manual means using hydraulic rock breakers, chiselling, wedging, chemical rock breaking using approved non-explosive expansive demolition agents or any other agreed method for foundations in both dry and wet conditions including trimming, dressing, removal of loose rock, incidental dewatering, loading, stacking and disposal of surplus excavated material to the approved area within the plant premises, complete in all respect as per specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The Measurement for payment shall be for the theoretical volume only and it shall be the volume of the block of the excavation having maximum bottom dimension of the levelling course/PCC as per drawing and to actual depth. Note : 1. The Contractor shall take into account in his rate, the provision for excess excavation required for necessary working space, cutting in slopes etc., which may be required for excavation, safety and other allied works and refilling the side slopes and working space in layers as per requirement. 2. FILLING WITH AVAILABLE — "EARTH WORK IN FILLING WITH AVAILABLE EARTHControlled Earth filling with available excavated serviceable earth in site levelling, foundations, flooring and at other places as directed with special compaction using 8 to 10 tonne capacity roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area to achieve dry density of 95% Modified Proctor density including reclaiming from spoil heaps at all heights/depths within the plant premises, transporting, depositing, compacting, dressing, trimming to required slope/gradient, complete as desired, in layers not exceeding 30 cms including watering, consolidating, testing all as per specifications, drawings and instructions of the Engineer Incharge."

FILLING WITH IMPORTED — "EARTH WORK IN FILLING WITH IMPORTED EARTHSupply of good quality imported earth outside plant (Plasticity index not more than 20 and liquid limit not more than 40 when tested according to IS:2720 (Part 5), maximum laboratory dry unit weight not less than 15.2 kN/cum, free from any deleterious material, organic materials, non expansive soil etc.) from approved source and controlled earth filling for site levelling, foundations, flooring and at other places in layers of 300 mm and compacted up to 95% to its Modified Proctor density or as per direction of Engineer in charge up to required height and any plan dimension for any lead including cost of all labour, tools, equipment, hire charges, cost of borrowed earth by way of royalties, right of way, taxes, transportation, testing, watering, rolling each layer with 8 tonne to 10 tonne roller in open area and by 1 tonne to 2 tonne roller or wooden or steel rammers in confined area, and dressing / filling up ground depressions etc. complete in all respect as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. Note : 1. Soil Sample to be tested at laboratory approved by HPCL/MECON.2. The contractor shall obtain prior permission from concerned statutory authorities as necessary for sourcing of earth required for filling as mentioned above and pay royalty etc., as applicable for the same. Copies of receipt of royalty paid by the contractor should be submitted to HPCL/ MECON for their record before bringing the material to site. No separate payment will be made by HPCL/MECON towards reimbursement of royalty or any other levies which shall be included in the rates quoted by the party.The contractor shall bring the earth and stock the same as per the directions of EIC.3.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of earth, royalties, right of way, taxes etc."

SAND FILLING — "SAND FILLINGSupplying and filling approved quality coarse sand / m-sand/ river sand (Zone II or Zone III) in foundation, pavements, flooring, trenches, pits and other places for any lead, at all locations in layers of 150 mm thickness including watering and ramming as per direction of Engineer in charge for required depth and any plan dimension.Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of sand, royalties right of way, taxes, and backfilling using sand in all conditions, etc."
