2nd class hard wood , plain , solid, straight chowkat and frame wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints.

Easing of door shutters for easy closing/opening and tightening of hinges or changing the position of hinges, adjustment of tower bolts, sliding bolts with new screws etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge, Size of door upto 2 Sqm single leaf or double leaf.

Easing of window shutters, kitchen cupboard shutters, show case shutter drawers including fixing of screws adjusting handles, knobs tightening piano hinges including misc small adjustments complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge, size of window upto 1.5 Sqm.

Resecuring without taking down chowkhats or frames but with shutters ( without taking off shutters from the frames) not exc 1.5 sqm each.

Factory made solid panel PVC door shutters 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, complete, including taking down existing all as specified and as directed.

Solid PVC door frame of size 50mmX47mm made out of 5mm Prelam PVC sheet used intead of Plain colour PVC sheet & edges will be paints to match with prelam sheet reinforced with MS square tube suppling & fixing in opening as per specificatioon.

2nd class hard wood glazed and skelton shutters 35 mm thick open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze etc divided into squares with plain, chamfered or rounded, mitred and rebated sash bars any numbers complete all as specified and directed.

30 mm thick factory made flush shutter solid core construction with block board core and plywood face panels, comercial type on both faces complete all as specified and directed.

200mm extruded aluminum alloy handles , fabricated type, anodised complete

Repair to doors by supply and fixing bottom rail of second class hard wood 35 mm thick including making of grooves and fixing new bottom rail by replacing defecting rail using fevicol and wooden pinning. Size of bottom rail shall be 200 mm wide and shall be treated with two coats of painting over primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Cutting holes in stone wall exc half brick and n.exc one brick in cement mortar for inserting hold fasts/lugs and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or 1:2:4 type B-1 concrete as required.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including disposal of debris complete all as specified and directed.

75mm thick cement concrete type C1, 1:3:6 (20mm graded stone aggregate), as in path/ plinth protection and finished cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement.

Surface excavation n.exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep in hard /dense soil and getting out.

Vitrified Ceramic tiles 10 mm thick, dark shade (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tiles not exceeding 0.36 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, laid over and including screed bed or bedding layer, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:6 including taking down existing tile and removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Vitrified tiles are classified under group B1a of the international Standard for ceramic tiles ISO: 13006. Tiles shall be hard, dense, impervious and frost resistant. Water absorption of tiles shall be less than 0.5% and flexural strength (Modulus of Rupture) shall be more than 35 N/Sqmm. (b) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

Preparation of new steel surface of any description and applying Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of redoxide primer on new steel surfaces, not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth,.

Note :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

Stainless steel wiremesh as in door / windows with aperture n.exc 1.40mm dia and of wire 0.36mm fixed with stainless steel wire stapples, painting to beading etc., including taking down old rusted wire mesh of any type complete all as specified and directed.

Steel window handles with nuts and bolts or with screws including welding/fixing with nuts in repair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
