Silt Clearance/ Removal of blown sand/ Berm Unloading undressed with combined lead upto 50 m. for lined canal section. For FSD more than 2 m.

Uprooting Juli Flora /sarkanda Uprooting Juli Flora /sarkanda, pahari kikar or arrows upto 0.50m. depth below ground level.

Earth work for sand and silt clearance of channels and berm unloading; Basket work undressed with combined lead upto 50 m.

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil for main canal and branches having discharge 10 cumecs and above; Kassi work undressed.

Extra on earthwork for laying in 15 to 25 cms layers including Dressing and Watering as per specifications (Water to be made available by the department at one place of work site).

Earthwork excavation for Lip Cutting in ordinary soil for disty. and minors having vertical height above 0.75 m., kassi work including rehandling with dressing of earthwork. (with extra two initial leads)

Compaction of earthwork by mechanically operated Vibro-Compactor/ any other mechanical means to attain a density 95% of Maximum Dry Density.

Dressing of earthwork.

Add extra for earth taken from private land, land to be arranged by the contractor through private negotiations. Item applicable on certification by Ex. En. that no earth is available within canal boundary. for command area

Rubbing and clearing the surface of existing brick/ tile lining to be used as subgrade both in bed and side slopes by means of wire brushes water/ air applied under pressure through nozzle to get rid of dirt, sand etc. deposited on it, complete in all respect, as per specifications and the instructions of the engineer incharge for preparation of surface.
