Pumping Machinery Sump well To Stage 1 PUMPING MACHINERY SUBMERSIBLE:Providing and erection of submersible Raw water polder pump sets at Raw water stage of KSB/Calama/Johnston/Crompton/BS/ SABAR/ Oswal/ Kirloskar make or of approved make by JSV (HP) list attachedconforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034-2002 upto latest ammendments. The pump should have impellers of suitable alloys as per BIS 5659-1970 with latest amendments (if any) suitable for Raw water with 2500 PPM turbidity having water lubricated bearing bush and stainless steel shaft with stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP, RPM 2900 KSB/SU make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with up to date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duly isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated to with stand long vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump should include water level guards, erection clamps, cable clips and depth gauge with upto date amendments. It should include cost of bearing nuts bolts and painting etc. The pumping machinery shall be installed and anchored properly. All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bus bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps,digital Ammeter,digital Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete involving all wear and tear at the time of erection and testing The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction to the Engineer-in – Charge. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. (Booster stage) (Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Vol-III, Data sheet No. 9). Pumping Machinery at Pump house 1 PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL:-Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning of horizontal spindle,horizontal / redial split casing/end suction(Back-pull out arrangements) single/double /multi stage star rated centrifugal pump or combination of pumps, In series/ parallel of recommended make such as Mather and Platt/KSB/ Beacon Weir /Kirlosker / BE/Jyoti or of approved make by JSV (HP) list attached as per BIS 1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 as per latest edition suitable for lifting water for under mentioned characterestics with impellers / priming funnels,casing ring and shaft sleeves ,shaft with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a common MS/Cast steel base plate (base plate to be from the manufacturer of the pumping unit only) to slip ring/ squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor /motors of standard make such as Kirlosker/BHEL /Crompton /NGEF /GEC/Siemens/Jyoti /ABB and suitable for operation on 415(+/-)15 volts,50 cycles /second.3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at +10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-)15% of the duty poiint head. The motor/motors as per ISI:325:1978 with upto date ammendments read with IS 900:1972. It should include cost of bearing nuts , bolts and painting etc. and should meet the following requirements: including Pump sets (working + standby), necessary piping and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including earthing ,specials and wastage etc.; complete suitable for operation the following requirement data given below. It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement (as per data sheet ) including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. The cost of stepdown transformer alongwith all its accessories such as cables, panels etc. shall be part of the offer including standby arrangement, the rate shall be quoted with per set rate of pumping machinery. The HP are indicative.Since the re-checking and verify survey of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly.(Refer Vol-II-Technical specification & Vol-III). The Pumping Machinery is also supposed to cater for the requisite discharge at various points in the rising main as shown in the key plan. Necessary Make and Model of the pump with Characteristic Curves should accompany the technical bid of the bidder.
Rising Main And Distribution. Rising Main Sump well To Water Treatment Plant, Excavation in foundation, trenches (for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition ( restoration of metalled/cement concrete surfaces shall be measured and paid for separately) & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing,Laying, jointing MSERW pipe as flanged /butt welding joints 95% & 5% flanged( by way of circumferential butt welded joints in three layers by electrical arc welding ) and testing of pipe of Jindal/Surya Roshani/Tata/AST or of approved make by JSV (HP) list attached ,of following diameter confirming to IS:3183-2007 plain ended (latest with upto date amendements having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and fabrication of reducers tapers all short pieces, bends ect as per site requirement made from parent tubes. Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately and all operations such as cutting, welding and jointing fabrication of bends tees i.e lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respect tp the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Overlikon/over cord s/s make. The damaged portion of the pipe and all specials (if damaged during laying and jointing operation of pipe) made from the parent tube shall be provided anti corrosive treatment by applying two coats of anti corrosive bituminous paints over a priming coat as per AWWA specification C-203-1978. Remote Monitoring (Automation) AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM : The tenderer shall automate the scheme a/w Pumping machinary and other units. Installation of hardware along with commissioning/ programming as per user requirement shall be done. The detailed automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from the competent authority. Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA in all leads and lifts and to the entire satisfaction of Engieer-in-Charge. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.( Refer data sheet No. 14)
Operation & maintenance of whole scheme from source level ( i.e from Chamera Dam upto sector storage tank) to water Treatment Plant & storage tanks. Having below mentioned structure / machinery/ facility in proper working condition for a period of Five years ( starting after successful testing of scheme for 90 days) The O& M includes ther regular i.e daily supplying of designed / required quanity of potable drinking water having water quality as per CPHEEO manual of water supply ensuring 0.2 to 0.3 ppm residual chlorine content or as specified by Engineer in charge. at the out let of the sector storage tanks to the beneficiaries of the schemes form above mentioned water source i/c water Treatment Treatment Plant & upto Main/ Sub main Storage tanks & sector storage tanks at different location of the schemes and repair & maintenance of Main lines. Head weir, Intake Tank , Pre-sedimanation tank, WTP all storage tank collection/ distribution chambers & other civil works etc and disposal of waster to a proper point as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. O&M also includes fixing. repairing leakage in structure. Channels pipe lines pumping machinery etc. Proper disinfection of treated water and reqular testing of water samples at required stages of treatment and keeping regular and proper record of water quantity and quality. repair and maintanance work. chemical dosing and time and hour of run of pumping machinery removal of all kind of slips. Sluch up rooting of unwanted grass, shrubs, weeds etc. growing near the structures and keeping the area neat and clean . Planting and maintaining plants/ flowers. trees around the pump house treatment unit. Storage tanks/ sump well etc. as per the direction & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge including the cost of procurement of adequate and proper tools and plants skilled and unskilled manpower spare parts. oil/ grease. lubricants, chemical ( Except bleaching powder) instruments. equipment stationery and any other material etc. required for O&M excluding the cost of energy charges. All the operation shall be carried out as per the CPHEEO manual on water supply and treatment ( latest addition HP PWD/JSV specification HP & JSV departmental norms direction issued by Engineer-in-charge.(Ist year )

Providing, transportation and installation of Metallic Pontoon of size 3 * 2 mtr with pump cage and roof top cover, pontoon lifting lugs supporting structure for chain pulley , submersible pump cage, anti skidding top surface , safety railing, as per MOC-MS IS 2062 Grade- Br E 250 including painting of exterior pontoon surface with PU paint internal surface with red oxide primer all hardware complying to SS304, alongwith floating walkway of size 9* 1.5 mtr with safety railing anti skidding surface MOC MS IS 2062 Grade- Br E 250 all exterior surfaces of the walkway to be PU paint alongwith Red oxide with primer on internal surfaces including pipe floaters for pipe size 150mm High Impact Polythylene shell filled with PU Foam of UV stabilised material along with all bolts, nuts, rubber pads and Belts alonwith expert supervision complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer in charge at near Jal Shakti Sub Division Office Brangal at Chamera dam site.
