REPAIR RESURFACING OF ROAD ROAD FURNITURES AND REPAIRS TO RCC SIGN BOARD AT BALASORE AND NILGIRI

NOTE (Applicable for all items) :- The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum / amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates.

Preparation of old black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm, n.exe 50 mm deep and removing n. exe 50 mtr and stacking and further depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Water bound macadam, 100 mm thick (compacted thickness) with broken stone aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) (Granite, Trap or Basalt) spread rolled with 8 to 10 ton power roller and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 10 kg / 10 sqm complete all as specified and as direted. .

M&L Premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using 4% paving bitumen (VG-30) by weight of total mix shall be hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 40mm thick (Consolidated thickness) bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) with minimum 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix with OPC cement & stone dust as per recommendation of design, from hot mix plant and laid by mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by 8-12 ton vibrating (Tendom) roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, with using paving bitumen VG-30, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen VG-10) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick (lines, dashes, arrows letters, etc. on wall, pavements and the like) with road safety spikeries glass beads 8% including preparation of new or previously treated road surface by using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree centigrade complete all as specified.

S&F in repair retro reflective Studs (Cats Eyes) of size (90 mm x 110 mm x 17 mm Approx.), on existing road surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
